I loved every moment of my experience. Surrounded by nature, took mud bath, not dirty mud but clean fresh mud. the next time i go back there i will take some of that mud home. definitely recommend this waterfalls.

As a local- this place is a bit of a rip off. It's a beautiful property & the guides are quite knowledgeable & helpful but since we didn't go through a tour operator we found out lots of things when we got there. We had to rent a locker to keep our stuff in for $700 (And the hike back to the car was about 3 miles up a steep hill so that wasn't an option), we had to rent shoes for $800, along with an entrance fee of $900. When I did a bit if research before I saw where there was a restaurant on property but you had to order your food ahead (which we never saw mention of) so was no good to us. So all in all, carry EVERYTHING YOU could possibly need- food, drinks & your own shoes & travel as light as possible so you don't need a locker. From Montego Bay Google maps said 1 hour & 7 mins but based on the state of the road we ended up taking almost 2 hours & the route Google recommended was totally wrong, we had to.ask for directions as we went along & we still got lost!

Its a fun and exciting experience i think everybody should try it will definately be back

Waterfalls

Original Mayfield Falls is a hidden gem located in one of Jamaica's premier eco-tourism destinations. It is important to wear sturdy and waterproof footwear, bring a change of clothes, and be prepared to get wet as the park offers opportunities for swimming, climbing upstream through bamboo thickets, exploring underwater tunnels and natural Jacuzzis. Unlike other waterfalls in Jamaica that tend to be crowded with tourists, Mayfield Falls offers a crowd-free experience surrounded by natural beauty.

Slide 1 of 14

This place was beautiful! Less crowded than duns river and the people were so nice. The food was great and they gave great information about the land and people. The trip inland and up into the mountains was so scenic.

The tour up the waterfall was great. $25 entry with guide. Can buy food and drink at the location. Toilet facilitties, parking, few wood work items for sale. Hardly any tourists, which created a better experience, just as good as Dunnes River. We drove their in a rental. Swim shows required can either rent or buy at the location.A local biker girl showed us the best way their and back without asking. Also provided a pavillion adventure through the jungle.

Loved walking the river bed and seeing so many spots of rushing water. Crystal clear water and in some spots the water was a beautiful blue color and deep enough to jump right in. Our guides were very informative about all the vegetation around us and very gentle funny guys. They used our waterproof camera and took all our images for us and didn't act like it was a nuisance. I brought 4 couples with us to Negril and chose this excursion for us and everyone said it was the most amazing day of their lives. I highly recommend Mayfield Falls to anyone.

Literally top three favorite places to visit in Jamaica. I have visited with family and have taken Campers on tours there. Pristine beautiful no hassle service, professional tour guides an almost magical place.

Mayfield Falls in Jamaica offers a refreshing and immersive experience for nature enthusiasts. The original Mayfield Falls, nestled in the lush Jamaican countryside, captivates visitors with its pristine beauty. The journey begins with a guided trek through tropical foliage, where the vibrant flora and fauna create a picturesque backdrop. The guides, well-versed in local ecology, enhance the excursion with insightful commentary.Upon reaching the falls, visitors encounter a series of terraced cascades and pools. The cool, crystal-clear water with a blue hue provides a rejuvenating escape from the tropical heat. One of the highlights is the natural massage offered by the cascading water, creating a unique and invigorating sensation. Adventurous souls can navigate through the various tiers, each unveiling a different facet of the falls' charm.Mayfield Falls also stands out for its commitment to sustainability, maintaining a harmonious relationship with the environment. The serene surroundings and the soothing sounds of rushing water contribute to a tranquil ambiance, making it an ideal spot for relaxation. While the original Mayfield Falls may lack the commercialization of more popular attractions, its unspoiled charm and ecological integrity make it a hidden gem worth exploring for those seeking an authentic and immersive nature experience in Jamaica.

This is a wonderful natural attraction consisting of a cascade of waterfalls and a pristine mountain stream all surrounded by a spectacular tropical landscape. It took me about 1.5 hours to drive to the falls area from Negril often on difficult roads but it was well worth the time and effort. The entrance fee is reasonable and the tour guides are knowledgeable and helpful. My guide Byron was particularly courteous and professional. These falls are a must see for tourists that enjoy nature and picturesque scenery. There are well maintained change rooms and washrooms available. The water is clean and refreshing for bathing.

An amazing place. Super good vibe ! Worth the visit. Loved the falls and the scenery. One of those hidden places Jamaica has to offered...Come and enjoy the refreshing and energizing sweet water.Dozens of natural jacuzzis with the power of the falls to get an amazing massage:) in head, back and shoulders.Jamaica in its best expression !

Mayfield FallsAbout 30 km /1hour 15 from Negril at Little London through the co*ckpit Country and the SugarCane fields up one of the countless co*ckpit Country Mountain bump uphill.Be sure to bring good navigation with you.Sometimes it’s like…. Is this really the route. Adventurous. There are at least 3 different tour guides: The Original, Chukka and Reggae Mayfield Falls tourChukka and Reggae are a tiny stand next to the road, these offer another part of the waterfall. It is a wonderful adventure experience. Climbing on waterfalls through the jungle. The freshwater is cool and very refreshing. It’s a wet experience, watershoes, swimminggear, underwaterhouse for the camera or phone. You can jump into deep water holes. Hide in secret places underneath the waterfall or get romantic. Our tour guide was Dave.We drove our own car, 20$ petrol and 70$ for 2 adults, 1 child. Resorts charge 120$ pp.

We had a tour today. It was lovely, tourguide Andray really helped us well while going through the river and waterfalls. He gave us all the time we needed and explained a lot about the nature and Made us experience the tour in a very interactive way (jacuzzi spots in the waterfall and making nice pictures of us). Afterwards we had coconut chicken which was really good. Highly recommend!!!

Dwight made our river trip even more enjoyable! It is a must experience if you are in Jamaica. River and falls are beautiful and refreshing, Dwight was a fantastic guide and photographer.

This is a truly hidden gem in Jamaica. Not as touristic as YS Falls but certainly worth the visit. We came here with 4 on a weekday in early June. Entrance is 20 Us$ including a guided tour, with our perfect hosts Andray and Jerome. They guided us with such patience and fun and laughter, through the heavily roaring river and chose the perfect spots for pictures and a dip. The nature is so beautiful and pieceful here, could spend all day here. We ordered our food before the tour started, and this was really the best food we've had in 14 days Jamaica! We had the pineapple chicken and the curry chicken. The curry chicken was voted most favorite by all of us and we even ordered an extra portion for the road. Together with some freshly cut coconuts... 😋 We also bought a beautiful carved piece to take home from "Dr. Carve".Thank you Andray and Jerome and all others at Mayfield Falls Original. If we ever come back to Jamaica again, we will certainly come back to you again.

One of the best experiences we had on our vacation!! The falls were beautiful and peaceful, tucked away in an isolated slice of the forest. Our tour guide, Dave, did a phenomenal job of taking us through the falls, while capturing stunning photos of nature and our family using my personal camera. We felt safe the whole time there, and would recommend going here over Dunn’s River Falls (we did both) if you are looking for a more personalized experience. We drove a rental car there from the north, and we STRONGLY recommend to not use the roads north of the falls because they are rugged, unpaved, and in some parts dangerous. Hire a driver for this or drive up from the south.

This place is awesome, we had a private tour , and man if I could give this place 10 stars i would do it, this for us was the best excursion of our vacation. This is a place you NEED TO GO. I could spend a whole story of this place but you need to experience this yourself.

Jerome was our guide for this tour, and honestly…as beautiful and amazing the falls and surrounding scenery is, Jerome made it better by 100%. He was funny, knowledgeable and great with video and pics when we handed him our phone. I am so glad we experienced these falls, and IMHO it was Jerome that made the whole adventure worth while!!

Jackie is fantastic! She is incredibly friendly, very knowledgeable about the history of the area and always prompt. She helped to make a great vacation even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend!

Had the pleasure of meeting Jackie several years ago on a family vacation. She took us to several sights. Extremely professional and passionate about her country. Had a wonderful experience, highly recommend!!

Jackie is the absolute best for your “no worries” Jamaican transportation. She and her staff are prompt, courteous and very, very professional. Jackie’s Tours will not disappoint!

We had a wonderful time with Nicholas When we visited back in January. He was a wonderful guide, and took us to a couple places off the beaten path that were perfect. He showed us where to get good authentic food, gave tips on the best times to visit certain locations, and Jackie picked out the best places for us to go! Hiking the Blue hole with Papi was amazing. She picked him for us, as he's the best guide and take excellent pictures! If you're going to Jamaica, book through Jackie. She's the best.

Ms. Jackie is a phenomenal woman who goes above and beyond for her customers. She was able to set my group up with an affordable excursion package including transportation to all our desired destinations. She has a plethora of connections that will allow you to do anything you please during your stay in Jamaica. Book with Jackie!

Awesome and flexible guided tours and transfersWe booked with Jackie's over WhatsApp and she was responsive to all our questions. She was very punctual and super friendly! We booked a day trip in Ocho Rios. She took us to Ferngully, then to Shaw gardens, which was closed but she went out of her way to track down the groundkeeper and arranged a private tour! Next to Konoko falls garden with a similar experience. After that she took us to a great lunch spot and helped us pick out different stuff to try. Then to a tour of St. Ann's which was rich with history and old churches.Next we were off to the Blue Hole where we spent hours swimming and climbing the river. She arranged tour guides and a photographer to follow us. We had a safe fun experience there. When Jackie dropped us off we all had smiles on our faces and lots of great memories and tons of photos. She made our week!We used her for airport transfers and Al drove us. He was also early both directions and got us to and from the airport safe and sound, and quick.I will use her again next time for sure!

Beach

Outdoor Activities

The Doctor's Cave Beach Club in Montego Bay, Jamaica is a white sand beach with crystal clear water for swimming and snorkelling. It's known for its peaceful surroundings and easy access to equipment for swimming, including chairs, umbrellas, and Shark Prevention Netting. Today the water temp is around 28 degrees Celsius making it a great place to swim all year round!

Slide 1 of 15

Nice beach. There is an entree fee of $6 USD plus additional for beach chairs and umbrellas. We went in October 2021. Overall nice environment, wasn’t overcrowded. Few vendors here and there selling coconuts, etc. No alcohol allowed.

Nicely maintained beach.About $30 for two people to enter with loungers and an umbrella.Decent toilets and changing facilities.Attentive staff and good food on offer. The water trampolines were fun to use.8/10 would recommend

Really nice, well kept beach. Place to smoke, beach bar with food. Turquoise water with cool seashells and if you swim out past the floating trampolines you can see a small reef with plenty of cool coloured fish, provided you have a mask and snorkel. Day after day it gets expensive but pro tip: they never change the color of the stamp when you exit ;)

Gorgeous beach. Clear blue water. The softest sand with beautiful shells. Great service where you can rent chairs and umbrella and order food and drinks. Clean change rooms and a beautiful view.

It was very packed on the day we went. Paid on entry then extra for chairs and umbrellas. The landscape as always is incredible and flights to Mo Bay coming in were close to see. No smoking beach. Parked in hotel about 5 mins walk away. Still a nice beach. Bar on site. co*cktail about £10. Found prices in general in this area to be much higher than other areas we had visited on the island.

Nice beach. Great view.Got shaded places under tree if you are worried to get burnt, plus the rental umbrella, you should be fine.Got all facilities you need and are pretty clean. It would be 5 stars if the stuffs can be nicer. We asked a lady who works there for helping us take a photo for all, however, she just turned around and ignored.

It was great private beach! It is cleanest beach and you will be served by Pier One bar. But there are cafe, Starbucks and fast foods you can order and enjoy under the shade. They are good food and smoothies drinks are delicious!$8 per adult and $4 per child (12 and under). If you want sun bed and umbrella, it is €7 each.If you arrive there at 9 in the morning, it is worth it.

I know it is wrong to pay for access to the beach...but so many locals discouraged us from going to a free local one that we decided to listen to their advice. Not sure if we will not try the free Harmony Beach tomorrow but Dr Cave Beach Club was a nice experience. 8 bucks an entrance and the same if you want a bed and umbrella ( not needed as plenty of palms and building shade to hide from the sun). The beach is very clean, safe, a great bar and changing rooms with showers.

We have been to many beaches across the Caribbean. Doctor’s Cave Beach is by far one of the best. While relatively small, it is very well maintained. The water was crystal blue, and the sand was perfect. We were here on weekdays, and it wasn't crowded. There are couple cafes with decent food for lunch and Starbucks. Bring your snorkeling gear, and you won't be disappointed.

A bit expensive because one has to pay entry fee on top of chair and umbrella. Friendly staff. The beach is beautiful and very convenient because we were staying right in front of the beach. The beach is clean and the sea is perfect!

This place is exactly what you see in Caribbean travel ads. Deep, clean crystal clear water, lounging on a lawn chair under an umbrella with a frozen co*cktail. Coconut palms on the beach, reggae music and gently crashing waves in the background. Nice little cafe serving fresh Jamaican and international food and great service. It’s a must for anyone staying at the hotels in the Hip Strip.

This beach has it all! You pay a reasonable entry fee (our hotel gave us free access included with our stay), and have lounger and umbrellas also for rent. There are service people that come around to offer food and drink. It’s very clean, beautiful, serene, and safe. There are plenty of shaded seating areas off the sand, and trees for shade on the sand depending on the time of day.

Beautiful blue calm water beach. Big changing rooms. Pricing is very straightforward and the people take good care of you. Good service in the beach as well as a few restaurants to eat at.

The most beautiful beach I've ever seen so so so relaxing and the water was perfect it was calm and clear no waves at all just relaxing in the water for hours .. The food was excellent and the people working on the beach were very friendly and attentive this place felt like heaven on earth I will definitely be returning to this location with more family members Doctor's Cave is absolutely gorgeous thank you God for this beautiful experience

Doctors Cave Beach is located off the famous Hip Strip of Montego Bay.Access is via the Hip Strip, it’s a fee paying beach, the beach is impeccably clean with clear waters so you can see the sea life, if you venture out a little you can snorkel and see amazing sea life. There is bar serving drinks , co*cktails and bar snacks , there is a Starbucks overlooking the beach so coffee and everything Starbucks is available. There is a bouncy thing you swim up to and bounce on or just chill and lie on, the beach can get busy from time to time, but that’s because it’s the place to hang out.The white sand, the clear sea, the warm sea and the impressive sealife makes this beach popular with tourists and locals alike

Travel lounge

Airport Lounges

Club Mobay is a luxury lounge at the Montego Bay Sangster International Airport that offers professional services with Jamaican hospitality. This airport experience makes traveling to and from Jamaica part of your vacation, making the wait for boarding shorter and more enjoyable. The shops here are great and there is plenty to do while you're waiting.

Slide 1 of 12

I would highly recommend the Club Mobay experience for both arrival and departure. The entry to Jamaica at this airport without it can be very time consuming. Based on the extra time and process to travel lately, the investment is well worth it. The shops here are great and lots to do while you wait to board to go home. Very modern airport.

Great experience both ways and a must for Jamaica. Glad I read the reviews about how busy the immigration area is. Greeter met us off the plane and took us straight through security/immigration. Felt like proper VIPs whisked passed the massive queues. Luggage took a while to come through so we didn't get much time in the arrivals lounge. Managed to have our first (of many) rum punches and a sandwich while our greeter went to find our coach transfer. My only niggle was the greeter, she wasn't particularly friendly and didn't engage in any real conversation with us.The departure experience was fantastic. Once we'd checked in our suitcases it was straight through with fast track security, a quick look at duty free and other vendors before heading to the lounge. We were shown to a table, drinks order taken and helped ourselves to the hot buffet. Jamaican patties, spicy wedges, fried chicken, pasta. There were also a variety of sandwiches and fruit as well as tea and coffee. After eating, we settled in a quiet lounge area with more drinks until our flight was called around 90 minutes later.

This is the one thing one must do for departure from Montego Bay Sangster airport. Expedited security and customs. Good place to chill with a drink and light meal. Well worth the money.

I love Club Mobay! The fast track through customs and immigration is awesome upon arrival. The atmosphere, food, drinks and service in the updated Club Mobay lounge for departing flights makes the wait at the airport in Jamaica so much nicer! Ricky, the bartender I had this time at Club Mobay was so friendly, entertaining and gave me great Jamaican service!

I got to experience Club Mobay Departure since it was included in Costco Travel package. It was a great experience! We always have to go the airport early (3hrs ahead of your flights). So, most of the time, we spent too much time around the gift shops or laying around the waiting benches. This Club solved that boredom. After checking in with your airline, you will approach that Club Mobay counter to get the ticket to get in, then go through airport security at a different line (shorter line). Then, you will go to the lounge. Inside the lounge, you get finger food, salad, drinks, WiFi access, bathrooms (separate from outside). The staffs are extremely nice and helpful. Save some money to tip them. Note: there was a bathroom attendant in each bathroom so make sure to save some singles to tip them as well. They all are very pleasant and not demanding. You can leave your carry-on luggage at the entrance and collect them upon leaving. Food quality is good and drinks are seriously not water down! Very pleasant! I don’t know if I would use it on arrival since we went through custom and immigration without issues. Thinking that it makes more sense for departure because of the long wait.

This is absolutely one service you cannot do without arriving and departing from Montego Bay! It is always an awesome experience to be escorted pass the long customs & immigration lines!

A lot of drink options but not enough food variety. It would have been nice if they had jerk chicken. Overall lovely place that’s very big with enough room for ppl to spread out. A lot of beef Patties at all times. They do offee vegetarian Pattie’s as well. There’s even a play area to keep the little ones occupied.

I like the club better when I am departing than arriving. Even in both ways the people who work on Mobay airport lounge are helpful and friendly. The food it’s delicious and the club it’s clean.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! This is the best thing to get when you travel to Jamaica they will walk you through the long lines. Wait with you to get luggage and go through customs. You get to sit in their waiting area they will give you snack, drinks while you wait on your transportation to hotel/resort.

Such a cool, nice place to spend a layover in. With snacks and a bar what else can you ask for?! They offer spa services too for an extra fee!! Plenty of seats and room to move about while waiting for your flight.

Business Lounge at the Montego Bay Airport. You have to cancel the word “business”.Of course, you can wait here and bridge the time to your flight, that’s the reason for a lounge. But the people in here, act like it’s their home and nobody says something.Feet’s on the table and seat possibilities. Next to the music in the lounge you can listen to everyone’s music on their own devices. There are 2 levels and in the basem*nt you also find a shower. When is was there, it was very dirty in the lounge.Enough staff is there. Some have been very nice. Others just not. I ordered a drink with a nice waitress at the lounge bar, when another guy from the staff interrupted and told me to change my face impression. Customer friendliness as it best!If you like to get a small treatment before flight, there is a possibility in the lounge.Food and snacks have been okay.

We could access club Mobay using our priority pass. The lounge is a great place to get some refreshments before catching the flight. It has a playroom for toddlers and a gaming room for older children. The food was basic but I loved the curry goat and chicken empanadas. There were sandwiches, salad, pasta. The bar served all sorts of drinks in additional to water , juices & soft drinks. Our server was very nice. Overall we had a good time at this lounge.

I had a great experience with Jamaica Tours Limited during my recent trip to Montego Bay! We chose to visit YS Falls and the Appleton Rum Factory and were not disappointed. Our driver & guide Reynolds went above and beyond! He was professional, kind, and full of interesting stories about Jamaica's history. He ensured that we were taken care of all day. I would highly recommend!

Our driver Howard was awesome!!He gave history on Jamaica. Information on different food.I told him I get carsick, and he suggested that I sit up front. He said I would not get sick on his watch. You could tell that he took good care of his bus. He slow down for potholes, speed, bumps, etc..It was in an enjoyable ride!

I always use JTL for all my airport transfer when I travel to JamaicaThe only thing that gets me is the wait ro leave. I understand it is not efficient to run almost empty halfway across the island but I am sure with passenger travel info they can improve.Overall , customer service has always been top notch and the drivers are always genuinely pleasant

We arrived with many flights that came in late so I understand that we had to wait for people on the bus. They helped with our bags and the driver was friendly. But I can’t give five stars because with 3 kids in tow who had been up since 3 am, they should have told us that we were going to sit and wait til the next flight arrived (almost an hour). And that the trip was going to be another 45 minutes. Then we would have used the bathroom and gotten snacks.

Don’t not book them for ANYTHING. They are disorganized and wait too long. There is no structure. I paid for an airport transfer to Negril from Mo bay. We sat in the van for almost an hour waiting because they driver was trying to wait for 4 more people to get through security. That is unacceptable. We pay for stays at the hotel and while I understand the van is trying to make money, they need to have set times that they leave and a max wait time. He knew there was bad traffic due to congestion and construction which is an even bigger reason why you shouldn’t have passengers sitting around waiting. After waiting all that time, we ended up leaving with just us. So we waited for no reason!!! No respect for the passengers’ time or consideration for the money we spent to stay at resorts. We should have been to the resort no later than 3. We didn’t get there until almost 5 because of the waiting and the traffic. We left the airport 2:10 after waiting for 40 plus minutes. Never again.

Very rude staff.Especially the lady at the help????/desk at Grand Palladium, Lady Hamilton. Not only was she not helpfull at all but utterly rude and irresponsible like telling guests...It's not my job to find your shuttle bus time.If you don't know the time than you can't leave Jamica.......Never have I encountered such staff who have a tripod linked mobile, watching tick tock videos at help desk and giving such response to the clients. Not only were we shocked but other employees of other companies at other help desk were equally shockedIf the company employees such employees and has no checks I presume that is the policy of the company.Advisable not to book/ rely on such companies

I have just come back from Jamaica and what made it amazing was the excursions I went on. I can't recommend Jamaica Tours enough for an amazing time. First of all I was in Bahia grand principal in runaway bay. I booked all my things with Jamaica Tours through an amazing ladies called Dionne Brown. She helped me so much. I've been to Jamaica a few times and she found tours for me to try that was new and I loved them all. She was so helpful, caring, funny and just a star. So if you are ever at Bahia grand principal please go to Jamaica Tours and ask for her. I went on the chukka Dunn's River boat trip, luminous Lagoon tour, Chukka ATV and shopping. All were amazing. The buses, drivers and journeys were all great. Thank you Jamaica Tours till next time I come. And again thank you Miss Dionne.

The travel advisory about Jamaica being dangerous is %100 incorrect. Jamaica is much safer than United States. The locals rely on the tourism industry for income, and their laws see harming a tourist as a very serious criminal offense. It's perfectly safe to go into town or tour the island outside of the resort, especially if you have a great tour guide. We used Jamaica Tours Limited taxi rides or shared transportation and they were very pleased with the experience. Our driver, MURPHY, was especially helpful. He really went out of his way to take care of us.

Great tour up to 9 mile. Driver was safe and efficient, tour guide didn't do much but the trip was fun

Our resort recommended we use this company, so I booked it. However, this trip was a splurge for me, and only a 3 day getaway. Therefore, every minute counted. We landed at noon and were escorted to a giant tour bus. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. After a long flight, it was the last place I wanted to be. After an hour, we finally left. But then we stopped at 6 hotels to let other passengers off before we got to ours. We got to the resort several hours later than we expected and missed an afternoon of beach time. If I go back, I would definitely splurge for a $30.00 taxi.

Not only did they never sent a confirmation email to provide further instructions, you have 1/10 chances that they will pick up the phone to answer your questions and confirm booking. We were sold an excursion that they later explained is an add on, and therefore they were not sending their personnel to pick us up. When our travel agency contacted them for a refund, they denied the request. We were told that they would come the next day, they never showed up, because a driver was sick and they didn’t have enough staff (they let us know 1:30 after waiting). We somehow managed to purchase a second excursion (thinking that we would get a refund for the excursion that never occurred), they showed up 30 min late. We also had a delay on the way there because we were stopped by traffic officials due to expired documents on the bus. We showed up to our excursion an hour late. There are other respectful companies on Jamaica that will take you to these excursions and will pick up the phone to answer your concerns. Don’t get scammed by them. Look elsewhere to enjoy beautiful Jamaica.

This is more than a review. I would like to express my gratitude toward the staff and management of Jamaica Tours Limited. On December 31st, 2023, New Years Eve Day, My husband, Jim and I booked an excursion to Dunn River Falls. On the falls he either slipped or lost his balance and fell resulting in a serious head injury. The staff at the falls acted quickly and transported him to the nearest hospital. He was stitched up and thankfully, after a head and neck c-scan, he had no brain injury. Darlene Stewart was our tour guide at the time. She stayed with us and took control of a very stressful situation. We were in a different country and not only was I afraid for my husband who required extensive suturing in multiple places to his head and forehead, but I had no Idea where we were or how to maneuver a hospital system much different than our own. Darlene was an absolute Angel sent from God. We were never left alone. She was in constant contact with her director Maralyn Monteith who helped us get to a private hospital at our request. Darlene was a great comfort to me and made this unfortunate situation bearable. We started our adventure at 8am and she stayed with us into the New Year until we were safely at Hospiten, Montego Bay. This was at 3am the following morning. Favain was our driver during the hour and a half drive to the private hospital. He was extra careful and I am so grateful for his help into the early morning hours. We stayed the rest of the afternoon at the Hospital and got some much needed sleep until Jim was discharged and was given a “Fit to Fly” letter so we could leave on our scheduled flight on January 2nd.Both Darlene and Maralyn visited Jim in the hospital before he was discharged. When it was time for us to leave I got a call from Maralyn that she arranged a private car to take us to the airport. She also arranged a wheelchair for my husband at Montego Bay airport and at our airport in Newark. The flight home was the easiest experience I have ever encountered as far as airport travel is concerned.Jamaica Tours fully refunded our excursion.I can’t convey enough what an asset Darlene is to this company. Maralyn was incredibly helpful in her decision making and more than fulfilled her responsibility as a director. This company clearly cares about people. They went above and beyond every notion of that concept.Jim is healing well. I hear from Darlene and Maralyn often. We have booked our return trip to The Jewel Grande for February 2025 and are looking forward to booking “The Spirit of Reggae” excursion for our next adventure. With much gratitude,Victoria and James Carter

Croydon Plantation, located in the Catadupa Mountains of St. James, is a functional estate that produces citrus fruit, pineapples, and coffee. Visitors can partake in an informative tour led by a guide to learn about Jamaica's history and way of life while enjoying the environment and delicious jerk chicken lunch provided post-tour. Croydon Plantation is renowned for its attractions and recognition as a historical site nestled in the foothills of Jamaica's Catadupa Mountains.

This was the Best place ever. We got to try 10 different pineapples. They were all awesome. I wish we had them in America. Our trip also came with an authentic Jamaican meal. It was great. I highly recommend. Make sure you book with the ride because it's a 2 hour drive up the mountains. They also have awesome bananas. I assumed because it was green it would not be ripe. Best banana ever. The tour requires a lot of walking. I wouldn't recommend if you cannot walk in high humidity for 2 hours. You will stop and go but it's still all outdoors.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this tour and especially our tour guide Alicia! We learned so much about Jamaica on this tour, the staff and owners at Croydon were so welcoming. The grounds were beautiful and are well cared for. It was very clear that this is a gem in Jamaica. We will definitely spread the word.

Truly a beautiful location in the mountains. If you're new to Jamaica, then this a perfect opportunity to see a variety of flora, organic fruits and vegetables and learn some history about the country.

Great tour with wonderful tour guide, who met our group shortly after we arrived. Very knowledgeable and entertaining. One of the best spots I have visited while my Jamaican gateway.

We there on a cruise way back in 2006. Can’t wait to go back!! Best fruits that I’ve ever tasted. 10 different types of pineapples! And those green tangerines? The sweetest ever!!

The best tour for nature lovers. Alecia our tour guide was so knowledgeable and the sweetest person ever! The journey up and down the mountain was bumpy but allowed us to see some beautiful scenery and proper country living. We drove through a waterfall just before entering the property. The views from Croydon are breathtaking and there are so many plants/fruits growing there. Everything was delicious and I may have overdone it sampling the pineapples and fruits that I barely had room for lunch. There is moderate walking with some small hills, my 10 year old has some mobility issues but still managed the walk. If you want to experience the real countryside in Jamaica, sample delicious fruits and food and spend time with the most welcoming tour guide in Jamaica I recommend a trip to Croydon in the mountains

This was the best part of our Jamaican trip. The ride here was a bit bumpy but so worth it. Along the way there was a natural waterfall on the road which was really cool to see. Croydon is a huge pineapple farm along with many other different types of fruits. The best part was trying all the fruits. The view of the mountains was also gorgeous. There is a lunch served after your long walk. Make sure you try the organic ginger tea, I've never tasted a drink that good before.

Loved this place! I took a tour with Winston and he was the best ever! The property and views from the hills were breathtaking. You get to try local produce from the plantation along with delicious drinks. Food was provided at the end of the tour. The plantation is a must see. I didnt know it was so many varieties of fruits such as bananas, pineapple, and mango.

The drive to the plantation from Montego Bay was long but it was worth the experience. The Croydon family was very welcoming. The tour guide Alicia was truly knowledgeable and fun to be around. It was about an hour, 30 minutes walk, where the tour guide shared her knowledge of the trees and plants on the property. We had breaks on the walk where we'd sample the fruits on the property. The journey ended with an authentic Jamaican lunch and we sampled coffee.Overall, the trip was very rewarding, a walk in the cool hills of Catadupa, in fresh air, great staff and good tasting food. If you are ever in Jamaica, this will be an experience worth doing.

This was a great experience. The atmosphere was pure and cool. The tour guide Alicia was very knowledgeable and her personality was welcoming. I enjoyed every step of the way. There was so much about my own country I didnt know. 🤭I enjoyed learning about the bees, the coffee process, the different trees and plants. I didnt know there were so many types of pineapples. The food was great too.The drive was a little bit rough to the plantation but it was worth the experience. The team was exceptional! I recommend.

If you are in Jamaica and planning to go on any trips, this is the one you have to do. Forget all the other excursions, this experience was by far the best we have ever had. The tour of the plantation, the fruits, the tasting. You don't get these chances often.

We are so glad we took this tour. Seeing this part of Jamaica was a real treat. The grounds were beautiful. All the staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. The lunch provided was excellent. Highly recommend

If you are looking for an incredible experience off the beaten track, and want to see the real rural Jamaica, do not miss this amazing place. The ride from MoBay takes about 1 to 1.5 hours depending on your resort, and while the road can be a little bumpy, it already offers amazing views. Once you arrive at Croydon, prepare to be amazed! You will get a very informational speech about the country and the plantation, home to one of the National Heroes of Jamaica, Sam Sharpe. Then you'll learn about coffee and honey, and observe some gorgeous hummingbirds. At this point you will move through the stunning property observing all sorts of trees and sampling so many varieties of pineapple and tasty fruits, juices and ginger beer. You will meet knowledgeable, friendly and passionate people that make the experience even more pleasant, and conclude the tour with one of the best Jamaican lunches you could dream of. Don't forget to drink the coconut water and to eat the jelly!!!I recommend the experience to groups, couples, families with children, even young ones: this attraction is definitely eco and family friendly. Excellent for nature and animal lovers. One of the best, truly authentic excursions in the country, that you don't want to miss.

The Rose Hall Great House, a restored Georgian mansion on a former plantation in Jamaica, offers both day and ghostly night tours. Known as the House of Horrors, it is said to be haunted by Annie Palmer, also known as the White Witch for her cruelty towards slaves and alleged involvement in three husbands' deaths. The property dates back to colonial times and was restored in the 1960s. Trained actors add to its eerie reputation by scaring visitors during tours.

Slide 1 of 13

We hired a driver called Blake (who is our shuttle from and to the airport) to take us on an excursion for today (Bob Marley's Mausoleum, Rose Hall Great House and Luminous Lagoon). We really enjoyed visiting Rose Hall great house as it was on our Jamaica bucket list for a long time. Our tour guide Erica was really nice and knowledgeable. Her stories were captivating and mesmerizing. She was really good and friendly. The tour was great and well managed. I took a lot of pictures and we had a great time. It didn't disappoint and I really recommend it.

You get a lot of history of the property which includes when it was built and the ownership chain.Out tour guide was very detailed and knowledgeable on the subject matter. She was able to answer the questions that came from our group. You get a quick tour of the grounds and a more detailed tour of the Great House with all the rooms. In each room, you get a bit of history on the furnishings and the relationship to the owner.Very scenic property. The tour was worth it.

I thought it was a good getaway. It's mostly a stroll through the Great House while the tour guide talks about all the urban legends surrounding Annie, her lovers and the suspicions behind their demise. I took the tour during the day. I think it would've been better to get the tour at night for the extra spook factor. It does offer lovely views of the surrounding areas of Rose Hall. All in all, a good visit .. and I'll be sure to book the night tour the next time I go back

We appreciated the history of the Jamaican sugar production and to reflect on the harsh treatment of enslaved people. The whole story about the white witch, her husbands, lovers, and ultimate demise, was very interesting and left me wanting to know more. The tour guide was professional and funny.I do think it’s an important stop when you’re on the island drinking rum runners and eating jerk chicken. The views are also *beautiful* and you will be sure to get some good snaps.

We had so much fun. Erica was our guide and the history was wonderful. Tons of beautiful period correct architecture and furniture. All amazing experience!

This is an awesome place filled with rich history people should know. Our tour guide did a great job explaining some of the myths about this place. Once you finish the tour, you will learn so much about Annie Palmer, the White Witch of Rose Hall.

Very interesting and historical story, albeita tragic one. One has to wonder how such evil can exist. The Great House is huge and an architectural beauty. Our guide, Shauna, was terrific and knew her stuff.

A piece of history preserved. Can't wait to go to the night tour!!!! Staff were courteous and knowledgeable. There is a basem*nt bar, try the white witch. There is a gift shop with local crafts and Jamaica branded items. The views are SPECTACULAR. It is a lovely property with a rich history. Do Cinnamon hill tour as well.

We reached here a little before sunset so could really appreciate the beautiful trees. The drums they played suited the atmosphere well. The greenery surrounding the plantation and the view of the ocean was beautiful. We took the night tour with a guide name Ricky. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. The night tour was very fun and spooky at the same time.

This historical home has all kinds of interesting stories attached to it. The stories and history alone are enough to make it worth your while, but add on top of it the friendly and knowledgeable people staffing it. Our tour guide, Sancha, was knowledgeable, patient and kind. My 2 boys had many questions and she made sure to answer all of them, regardless of how silly they were. My wife and I love history and had quite a few questions of our own. So this tour really made our day and we enjoyed hearing all the stories and conversing with Sancha.

We had a guide to ourselves and loved walking thru the house and the grounds…the stories around “Annie” were mostly just that - stories. I would have rather heard just the actual history, but it was beautiful day…And, there was an awesome gentleman selling jewelry and other souvenirs outside by “Annie’s tomb”.

Booked a private tour of just our small group of 6 through our hotel, and went right after opening. No wait and so nice to get a good look at everything. The house itself is quite grand, and the yards outside were beautiful. I took many pictures of the art on the walls and furniture inside the house.Loved learning more about the legend of the White Witch. Our guide was excellent in filling us in on all the horrors of Annie Palmer. Also, learning how much of a connection Johnny Cash has to this place was an interesting surprise. We did a daytime tour, and it still was a little creepy, so a night tour would be very spooky, I'm sure.I share my picture of myself and Annie's mirror. I am not sure if I really see anything "extra" in the mirror, but once you hear the stories, and start to look more at it, it's amazing what the mind can make you think you see.I am very intrigued to learn a little more about the history of this place and the legends behind it.

I have taken both the day and night tour at Rose Hall Great House and thoroughly enjoyed both tours particularly the night tour for its atmospheric rendering of the legend of Annie Palmer. The tour guides I had were courteous, knowledgeable and professional. A gift shop that sells quality souvenirs and a basem*nt bar serving refreshments are located within the premises of the attraction. Be prepared for several heart stopping jump scares with the night tour. There is ample parking close to the entrance and entrance fees are reasonable.

Cinnamon Hill Golf Course is a picturesque 18-hole course in Montego Bay, offering stunning Caribbean views and featuring a small waterfall and historic aqueduct. The area is known for its golf courses, including Cinnamon Hill, Rose Hall, Half Moon, and the White Witch. Cinnamon Hill stands out with its beautiful surroundings and notable features like the waterfall near the 15th green, which was featured in the Bond movie "Live and Let Die.

Fantastic golf course. Ask for Dianne as a caddy, she is the best. Please note, white witch is currently closed on this property and only cinnamon Hill can be played. Additionally, I was not able to book online, as it said all booked an no availability. Being able to book online ahead of time would be a huge benefit and also help this course out.

I am very fortunate that I just started playing golf and this course was the second place I played during a family trip. Not only is the course scenic but it is very well kept. Once you get to hole #5 the views really start to set in.Our caddies were amazing and felt like they were part of the group while knowing there stuff. If it wasn't for them, I'd probably had played a lot worst.

The golf course was beautiful and diverse, starting with ocean views then transitioning to jungle valleys - breathtaking. It had rained and the course was wet. It was still a bit rainy off and on while we were there. What made our experience great was or caddies who go by Mario & Brian. I was with my wife and two sons (17 and 16 years old). My wife refuses to golf and the one time she tried 25 years ago, she gave up on the first tee, but we got her to join us while on vacation. I and my sons would classify us as bad golfers, but with those occasional great shots that keep us trying. Anyways, Mario & Brian made the wet day a fun one. My wife was actually hitting the ball and smiling which is a million miles from where her mindset was at with reduction golf. I actually had an above average game. The place is great, but you will spend some money. If saving money is your priority, then don’t golf and especially don’t golf in cool places like this while on vacation. On the other hand, if enjoying a great course on vacation is your priority, this place is likely going to make you happy, especially if you have Mario & Brian as your caddies. And for those comments about caddies not looking for balls, not true with these guys.

Wow, wow, wow, Just been last week, amazing experience and worth the money.Staff were very friendly and helpful. The price covers the cart and practice balls on the driving range, so get there at least half hour before your tee time to take advantage of that.

Brilliant course, lots of hazards, lots to see. Highly recommend playing if you're staying locally.

Great course, great staff. Natalie was our 1st round caddy, and she was loads of fun as well as very knowledgeable about the course. Vernon caddied for our last round and was very nice. Course was in great shape. Nice, challenging layout with SPECTACULAR ocean views on several holes. DEFINITELY recommend.

This was a great golf course! We stayed at the Hilton, so this was only a short golf cart away. We started playing at 8:30 and this requires a caddie. JR was our caddie and he was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Check in process was smooth and club rentals were also readily available.I would definitely recommend visiting if you’re in Montego Bay! The views are absolutely incredible. You will get waterfront views, as well as hills/jungle views. We were paired up with another golfer, as we were a smaller group and it was busy.

Had a blast playing. Course was very scenic and challenging. Water holes, mountain holes with major elevation changes. Our caddie Vern was awesome and so knowledgeable of the course and greens.

played 18 here march 9th, 2023, at about 10 am. all i can say is this place delivers and the price is worth it. beautiful scenery both on the ocean and in the jungle/mountains that you’re not getting at any other course in jamaica. back 9 gets pretty difficult but our caddy, tony, was excellent and didn’t give a bad read all day. also a fun guy to play a round with, definitely request him if you get the chance. after our round was over, i bought a hat at the pro shop, somehow got caught up in a conversation about the NBA with the guy working the shop, and ended up forgetting to even take the bag he’d already put my new hat in. just before our shuttle takes off i see him hustling over, bag in hand, yelling for my cab to stop. great course and great hardworking caddies and staff to go along with it

Awesome golf course! Definitely recommend trying when in Mobay.Interesting layout and get a good variety of Sea and jungle in the hills.Played solo in less than 3 hours one morning and the workers were friendly and pointed me in the right direction a few times. Make sure to occasionally pause and take some photos of the scenery. A bonus was to haggle for some extra balls at the range or with the street hustlers 😎👌

Beautiful course with great views and a lot of elevation changes. There were some areas of the course that were in rough shape but the caddy said it was from heavy rains. The caddys was very helpful and helped out on some crazy long putts. They also made it fun ours was a female she had a great personality. The course had a lot of history and it was great hearing about it from the caddy.

Amazing course. Great service from start to finish. Some absolutely stunning holes. The scenery is next level. Our caddies were phenomenal. They made it that much more enjoyable, such knowledge of the course.

Tours

Experience the wonders of nature by taking a guided cruise along the scenic Black River in J. Charles Swaby's Black River Safari park. The safari offers sightings of diverse wildlife, such as crocodiles and egrets, amidst the lush mangrove forests. The boat ride takes you through a beautiful coastal wetland area where you can catch glimpses of Morass, Manatees, Birds and Mangroves while sailing past them on this jungle river trip that lasts around one and a half hours.

Slide 1 of 13

To have this experience as a part of our overall journey through this island of Jamaica, I tell you if this is a part of the package for your excursion then you will be entertained and educated. Just to see the different flora, wildlife, and magnificent views was worth the investment. Our guide was excellent as he kept us engaged throughout the tour. This one was for the books and it will last.

We had an excellent time with our guide! He was really funny and knowledgeable. We had a great time and saw a few crocodile. We even got to hold a young one inside the nursery. Really well worth the price of admission. We went on the 10am tour and weren't disappointed at all... ♥ 🐊

Loved it and would go back again. Forgot tour guide name, young, little fellow, good tour. Also Roger was great, staff in general very nice. Refreshments a little pricey but not overly. The scenery, beautiful.

The view is great. I love seeing the crocodiles even tho i am deadly afraid of them and the water they reside in. I like the nursery where they show you and teach about the crocs and turtles. Definitely recommend taking their safari. The tour guides are the best and they are hilarious

Great efficient tour, saw 4 or 5 crocs up close, plenty of birds and wildlife.. the tour guide was very knowledgeable and kept telling us things about our surroundings the whole way. Great to see nature that's been left alone. Great experience

We had a great time at the safari on the black river, our guide explained all plants birds and of course, we got to get up close and personnal with some crocs.

I had a wonderful experience on this safari with my yoga retreat group. Roger, our guide, was very knowledgeable and entertaining and obviously a passionate conservationist. He introduced us to his crocodile buddies who would swim up alongside our boat when called. I highly recommend this tour. It was lovely.

Price and quality do not fully match. You are taken across the river with trimaran and show some accustomed crocodiles and a couple of birds. Admittedly, the guide is very good. His jokes are really funny. Thank him. This improved the attitude towards this measure

Had a good time I’m only giving it a four cause we ran out of gas, waited for gas to come, then moved a bit then engine broke down. Had to wait for a new engine to come. We were joking wether we’d go into the croc water or the wildfire bush 😂 then we continued on for a bit it started raining and we turned back. Saw two crocs. My cousin swore it was a rafting place which is what I was hoping to do. I’m from Florida I see crocs everywhere. Saw two crocs and some beautiful views. $30 is too deep for this boat tour it should be $15 I’d say the most.

Love the boat ride. What an experience! If you love nature you must try this. Friendly staff and of course very knowledgeable. I would post more photos but I suggest taking your own as I would not want to spoil your own adventure! These were my favorite pictures....they even come when they are called by name.....

I've gone on the river many times in the past. I love the tranquility and history of the river. This was the first in many years that I've gone back, it hurt to see that they cut through many places that should have been left alone. It's pointless to have a reserve if you're just going to damage it for tourism.

This boat ride wasn't on my radar but I'm so happy it included in our package. It was an exceptional experience. There's plenty of space on the boat, so every seat is really a good seat. If sitting in the sun is a concern, go for the inside seat. The river is beautiful! Being out on the water, getting a little history, and observing the animals was quite entertaining. My husband really enjoyed it to.This attraction is a hidden gem that everyone should find.

This was part of a tour with Elverad on Viator (highly recommend him). Nice boat ride of about 30 minutes of the river. Saw about 4 gators with the last one being the biggest. Would recommend.

Waterfalls

YS Falls is a picturesque destination in Jamaica's South Coast that draws many visitors. It features lush gardens, natural swimming pools fed by seven cascading waterfalls, and an exciting treetop canopy ride. The falls are set against limestone cliffs and surrounded by jungle, making it one of the most beautiful attractions in Jamaica. Visitors can climb the steps alongside the waterfall or try their hand at a rope swing above one of the pools.

Couldn’t find a more perfect way to spend the day. You must go to YS if you’re in Jamaica. Picturesque grounds, water falls and foliage. Our tour guide was so helpful and knew all right spots to walk and take the most perfect vacation pictures. The tour guides are trained photographers and will capture EVERY moment. They have multiple swings that you can swing on and dive into the water with complimentary video & pics. This is a playground inside of natures best kept secret. Here you can zip line over the jungle as well. This lush adventure is incredible as you fly over the tree tops! When you’re tired of the fun, you can eat and get a drink and start all over again playing in the crystal clear waters or lounging by the natural swimming pool. Say YES to YS!!

When I went to YS Falls the river flow was darker than usual because of the rains. I refrained from swimming and diving because of that. If you're planning to go and don't want to experience a brown colored river, call ahead to make sure the river has its beautiful deep blue colour! Nonetheless, I had lots of FUN with my friends! Thankfully, they also have some pools that can be used for swimming (no diving)I was surrounded by beautiful and lush scenery that complemented the fun and adventure. We were driven to our destination and back courtesy of the YS transport. My friends and I were comfortable, relaxed, and curious the whole time! We also went to have food and it was really good! I recommend giving the jerked chicken burger a try! Generally the weather was nice, cool, and sunny then it started to rain for a while! I give it a 9/10! Would I go back?! Yes! And I would definitely try the zip lining and diving next time I go! Family-friendly, spacious, picnic perfect, good food, good vibes!

Great food. Excellent guides. Beautiful place. Falls are easy to traverse and not too high if someone doesn’t like heights. Climbing the falls does not take long at all. Not too crowded either. Natural pools for swimming. Plant life is amazing.

Beautiful, clean, tranquil environment suitable for relaxation, picnic, or a family day away in nature. You'll have to create your entertainment though, as not much is provided by the venue (soft music is played by the bar, however, the sound doesn't travel to the pools very well). Additionally, I'd recommend that you exercise safety and responsibility especially in and around water bodies (the pool and falls) as the lifeguards and guides tend to laze around and chat with each other most of the time. A great addition to the property is the Chukka Canopy Adventure which offers ziplining over the falls (for $2,500) that's where most of the fun lies. But overall, it was a good experience.

Such a lovely experience. Entrance was reasonably priced. Workers were friendly and helpful at all times. Though the falls pools are for strong swimmers. Their are plenty of large man-made fresh water and chlorine pools for every swimming level. Place also looked very children friendly.

This was my second trip to this beautiful attraction, my family really enjoyed there time. You can also have picnic and birthday parties or you just want to relax. It's best to visit in summer time at that time the falls isn't too rough and the water too high and you can really enjoy.

So worth the drive seriously amazing. We had several little ones with us and we had some amazing guides to help us navigate the falls. A rope swing at the end got some incredible family pictures. There is a restaurant and huge pool for the family to hang out in at the end. Super clean and beautiful

Absolutely stunning!!! So many activities for all. I loved the pools at the bottom of the falls and the guides were so so helpful going up the waterfall. The jumps were a bit scary, but the guides definitely help you feel safe. It was so so stunning and I really enjoyed the ride up and down the falls

Grounds was absolutely breathtaking. Staff was super friendly. It was a 7 tier fall, parts of it are really deep. But they have guides present to guide you along the way. There is a short bus ride to get to the falls which is beautiful, they also have horses in the distant. We had a great time. Absolutely love the pool, not one for the chlorine in the water but I understand the need for it.

Great location to spend the day relaxing poolside or taking a swim in the waterfall. There’s lots of activities here to include zip lining, hiking and overall relaxing. The on-site restaurant is pretty reasonable and there’s a nice gift shop. Definitely recommend the day trip.

Great spot to cool down and enjoy the waterfalls and soak in the serene nature.Pro tip: there isn’t much food on the drive back, highly recommend eating here especially if you’re part of a tour.Pro tip #2: the guides will approach you to walk you through the falls. If you’re looking to just chill, you can ask them to leave.

A perfect day in St Elizabeth!!! Spent the day at YS Falls with a group of friends. 1. The waterfall is beautiful and not a as crowded as Dunn’s River. 2. We had an amazing guide, Brandon (I’ll get back to him) 3. The natural water is refreshing 4. Everything you could need is available.I want to brag on Brandon for a quick minute. He was professional, patient, knowledgeable and made our experience unforgettable. He guided each of our group of 6 according to our abilities. He takes amazing photos for your group as he is guiding you. He knows my iPhone better than I do. He made this experience 5 Stars!!! Brandon, Thank You!!!

What an amazing experience. Got here early. No body was here except the amazing staff working from the gate to the guides taking us through the falls and showing us in detail where to step, where to walk, and where to swim. All while using YOUR personal phone to expertly capture your whole experience RYAN i thank you for the adventure. We then made our way back down to use all of the amazing pools. Had some jerk chicken which was pretty good with a great price

It was really good! I didn't eat anything purchased there because you can bring food in, but everything smelled really good, and the lifeguards were phenomenal. There were also multiple pools available for use. It's not very friendly to wheelchair users, however. There's lots of walking, climbing and stairs.

This is a wonderful natural attraction consisting of a cascade of picturesque waterfalls in a lush tropical setting. The park was very well maintained and park staff was courteous and professional. There was ample parking available and a regular shuttle to the falls area was provided. I was staying in Negril and the drive to the park took me about 1.5 hours. This park is well worth a visit.

My family and I visited on New Years Eve. It is a breathtaking place to visit. The changing facilities were well appointed and I was really impressed with our guide T.C. who assisted our party of 12 (including 2 people with mobility difficulties and a 5 month old baby) to safely climb the falls. He also took some stunning photographs of us in the water. It’s definitely worth the visit.

Our ride out to the Pelican bar with Captain Dennis was breathtaking. Dennis is very accommodating with his hours and his rates are reasonable.

We joined Captain Dennis and his team for a fabulous day. Collected by his crew we enjoyed an exhilarating ride in a clean and comfortable boat. On the way we were privileged to have a pod of dolphins swim along side us.Our first stop is a visit to Pelican Bar - built on wooden stilts in the middle of the ocean. You can have a beer, browse the gift shop and have your name carved into the wood.We then arrive at the beautiful private beach where you can swim, sunbathe, laze around in hammocks or just sit at the boat bar. Treated to the most delicious lunch of lobster, red snapper and traditional accompaniments lovingly prepared by the Captain. You are truly looked after on this fantastic day out - highly, highly recommended.

Absolutely one of my best experiences here in Treasure Beach. Captain Dennis is knowledgeable and professional and really enjoys what he does and it shows. This is the tour Captain for you!

Great tour with Captain Dennis. Great scenery up through black river and over to Pelican Bar. The lunch the crew prepared was some of the best food we had in Jamaica. Outstanding day out with a great Captain.

Fantastic day out with captain dennis. From treasure beach up black river , to pelican bar and lunch on a lovely lil beach. Fantastic day all around, great guy. Couldn't recommend him enough. One of the best things we did in jamaica!:)

Our ride out to the Pelican bar with Captain Dennis was breathtaking. Dennis is very accommodating with his hours and his rates are reasonable.

Treasure Beach is a special place and Captain Dennis is a big part of the reason why. He took our family, 2 adults and two kids, out to Pelican Bar and then to his private beach where we had a spectacular lunch with plenty of time to hang out and enjoy our time. If you are lucky enough to spend some time in Treasure Beach, book with Dennis immediately.

Slide 1 of 14

Great place to enjoy some good rum and food. If you’re a history buff you’ll have lots of questions for the tour guide and she will oblige. The ride to get there is certainly long and winding but it’s worthwhile as complimentary rum is on tap

This tour is a Must DO especially for Appleton lovers ! I have done it more than once and it never disappoints! The staffffff is GREAT! Our tour guide Tiffany was great, Sedane & Terrick at the bar and Levaughn out in the yard!

This was a great experience. You get to explore the factory and it’s history in company of a fun guide. Best of all “Unlimited mixed drinks”. The facility is very clean and has a nice ambiance. I highly recommend for a group outing.

I was impressed with the welcome area; I liked the hotel-like ambience. I also liked the friendliness of the staff. The welcome drinks were good, and the property is very well-keptn giving you a lot of photo opportunities. I also liked that there were samples on the tour. My only disappointment is that the restaurant had closed by the time our tour had finished, so I never got the dining experience. The tour was educational, informative, and fun.

Relaxing atmosphere, great info, but if we had not asked questions....our guide was leaving out a lot of great information, maybe he was tired that day?

It was fun, and I did learn a lot. Interactive and enjoyable. My wife and I appreciate that our 3yo could attend the tour, despite it being a "Rum" tour lol. The guide was very friendly and made us feel welcome.

A great beautiful estate. Very well kept & staff is friendly. Lunch we had there not only tasted good, chicken had smoky flavor, but prices are very reasonable.Tasting room was a nice touch, it makes you really see the difference in various aged Rums. I deducted a point as I felt entrance fee is a bit high, but I understand need to pay for all the staffing.

Fabulous! Excellent tour and lovely rum.Wherever you’re staying in Jamaica you’re almost certainly an hour or more away from the estate, down lumpy roads, but even if it’s 2+ hours it’s worth the journey.

This was a beautiful experience and I would definitely recommend persons to visit the Appleton Estate... I must add that our tour guide Rasia was absolutely amazing.

It covers mostly historical process and tasting. I wish it also covered more about other aspects like blending, operations, and what makes Appleton unique. Secondly I was expecting a longer tour more with a little more details. Maybe a drive on a buggy to see the cane and the limestone water that is crucial for making the product also would like seeing the scorching of the barrels. The ambiance of the establishment is top tier! The bathrooms have up to date technology and were really clean! The staff were also well attired! 👌Got there late so didn’t get to eat lunch 😩Good experience non the less.

You can have up to 3 rum punch while waiting for the tour ! It's a guided tour. We were in a group of about 25 people. It was informative and educational. To wrap up the tour, we had rum tasting 😋.

It's better than i expected. It was a nice and different experience than a normal exertion or outing. The staff was pleasant from the front desk to the bar tenders and restaurant servers. I can't speak for all tour guides, but the guide for our group was bubbly and made our tour interactive and interesting. So, job well done to Kaydene, our very effervescent guide...overall its value for money, and worth the long journey.

Well organized place, they explain all the processes and history of this Company well. Very clean environment. Price also very reasonable when compared with facilities. Not much crowded. We had chance to enjoy more than 15 years old rum and also they have good collection of rum and other jamaican products to buy with reasonable prices. enough parking space and no doubt about security. Learned rum producing process A to Z.

The grounds are very well kept and the reception area was quite welcoming. After signing the waiver and paying admission, we had welcome drinks and those were good. Our guide Tiffany was well rounded and patient with the group. The tour was educational, funny and delightfulAs a rum drinker, learning about the history of the best Jamaican rum and seeing some of the mechanics of it all was truly amazing.Edutainment 10/10A time very well spentWould highly recommend

The Appleton Estate is a historic rum distillery located in a picturesque valley. It offers guided tours, tastings and has a visitor's center. The estate covers an 11,000-acre plot and is known for producing some of Jamaica's finest rums since 1749. Visitors can learn about the history of Caribbean rum and explore the process of making it from the 18th century to present day.

Slide 1 of 9

When visiting Treasure Beach we took the rum tour. It was informative and entertaining! The complimentary Rum Punch & Stormy Valley were tasty. I enjoyed the tasting with ingredients and explanations. The tour included the history and tasting of the sugar cane and molasses. When I have others visit Jamaica I plan to attend again.

Definitely a great tour which I enjoyed even though I don't drink alcohol. The grounds were beautiful and the information was interesting. They have tasting along the process making of the tour which makes it more interactive and interesting. Would for sure recommend

An awesome experience. At this rum tour to your list. Cost is $2500 for locals. Ensure you eat before going because you’ll be offered a complimentary drink and do rum sampling. You see the different process of the rum making. Taste molasses and get sugar cane. The staff is very hospitable and there is a restaurant on the property. You’ll also get a free mini appleton estate rum

Amazing amazing amazing tour! It was well organized and informative. The tour guides Peter and Romaine were phenomenal. The entire staff from the minute you are entering the gate to when you are exiting are so friendly and welcoming. I will definitely do the tour again.

This was an awesome place. You could feel the history here & the tour is awesome. The rum tasting & drinks will have you walking sideways. Totally enjoyed it!

Great experience. The tour is very thoughtful. Several pleasant surprises. I will not say any that is interesting. The guide is knowledgeable enough. We had a number of specific questions that could not be answered immediately, contacted the specialists and found out. I recommend to everyone. Local store prices are much lower than in the city.

It was an awesome tour. Our tour guide Danielle kept us informed the entire journey while we embarked on the journey of sugarcane to alcohol. I would do it all over again

My family and I visited the Appleton Estate after visiting the nearby YS Falls during a recent visit to the island. Although my parents have a home in Jamaica and we winter there annually, none of us had ever visited the estate. The tour and rum tasting was wonderful. It was filled with incredible historic information about the island, the origins of rum production and the trajectory of the Appleton label, which to locals like us, was refreshing to hear. Often tourists come to our country and think it's all bob Marley, one love, and wine up bruk up yourself vibe. Jamaica is a vibrant culture beyond that and experiencing attractions like the Appleton Estate tour (and I highly recommend YS Falls.... don't waste time at Dunns... See my review on YS Falls!!!) gives a tourist a broader understanding of the history and variety of our beautiful island.

You appreciate and love the rum more after the tour! Tour guide Tian was well educated and made the tour fun!It lasted about 45mins or so ,at the end there was a tasting which I loved, i also had dinner at the restaurant food was pretty good !

The Martha Brae River in Jamaica is a popular spot for bamboo rafting and a great destination for a romantic getaway. Situated in Trelawny, the river is just a few miles from Falmouth and 20 miles from Montego Bay. Visitors can enjoy the natural beauty of the area while floating down the river on a traditional bamboo raft with an experienced guide at the helm.

One of the best experiences I have ever had. The staff are very courteous and make sure that you have a good time. Water was so clean and refreshing. Jamaica sweet🇯🇲🙏

Beautiful Ride Down The River Best Guide, My wife and I had the time of our Lives.

Great time out here. Very relaxing and enjoyable ride. Much thanks to Captain Gayle who taught me a lot along the way. Water is crystal clear.

Cruising the river on bamboo rafts was very relaxing. Their is a cool breeze along the waters. There is punch available, for purchase, to bring along. The colors incredibly vibrant. Be prepared to take photos.

One of my favourite highlight of Jamaica was visiting the Martha Brae River. The river is nicely shaded from the hot sun. One raft cost 77USD for 2 people. Our guide was Leroy (Sugar), he was incredibly friendly and helped us take a lot of pictures! He was fun to chat with about Jamaica life and even about our life. Be sure to buy their craft, great souvenir to take back home. There are also vendors along the banks that sell fresh coconuts and souvenirs.

We had a very wonderful experience at the martha brae River. The rafting was a breathtaking experience that everyone should be able to enjoy. The reason that this review is a 3 star is because of the staff at the office. They were very unprofessional and rude specifically an employee named sholene. Everyone else especially the tour guide was very friendly but the staff at the office made this trip a 3 star.

This is a wonderful experience. Our guide was Jay and he shared a lot of interesting information about Jamaica. I accidentally caused my husband to take a dive and he cut his finger on the wire. Jay poured rum on it and rubbed limestone and it stopped bleeding immediately. During the tour, they give you a limestone foot and leg massage. It was incredible....my feet are so smooth. The tour cost $35 per person and we bought a bottle of rum punch for $30 (we actually didn't know we were buying it but oh well!)

Prior to landing in Jamaica I was told that rafting on the Martha Brae river is an experience I should have. I must say that I was not too enthusiastic about going. Quite frankly it sounded boring to me. But along with other family I went with the flow.Well...hmm. it was a wonderful experience. After joining the raft which is made of bamboo we floated along the river with Ronald as our guide. He told us twice versions of the story of the Martha Brae river.Firstly, that Martha Brae was a witch who was tortured by the Spaniards so that she can tell where gold was located. That she lured then into a cave changed the course of the river and flooded out the cave causing them to drowned and the river began to flow in that new course from then until now.Second story is that the name Martha Brae is the english translation of the spanish name for the RiverMateberion (not sure if the spelling of the name). We saw the river vendors plying their trade and children swimming in the river. We also saw fruit trees along the way.The most interesting part for us was to watch the guides manoeuvre the rafts when we arrived at our destination. There were so many rafts at the end that for us to get off the raft the guides had to use their oars to push the rafts out of the way so that we can inch forward slowly until we were able to step on to land. After that, while waiting be taken back to our vehicles we saw cranes loading the rafts...4 at a time on to the back of truck and we are told that the rafts are then taken to the beginning of the river and put back into the river so that other guests can join the raft and experience rafting on the Martha Brae River.

Upon arrival, you're a bit skeptical about what you're entering. Then, you step into the hidden gem that is Blue Waters Beach Club. It's absolutely beautiful and the staff are so friendly. The cost of admission is very affordable. They have an assortment of drinks and food on the menu. Our attendant, Marj, was so pleasant to speak with and to order from. Awesome, clean and accessible beach to visit in Montego Bay, Jamaica. This is my second visit to Montego Bay and I went to Doctor's Cave Beach the first time. Our driver at Kylie's Tours recommended this beach and I was so glad she did. We had fun and made great memories.

10/10 Highly Recommend coming to the Blue Waters Beach Club if you have the opportunity. We came as part of a cruise excursion this past week and it did not disappoint. The locals are amazing to say the least. Everyone we met was so welcoming and friendly. The food and drinks were fabulous. The view and the beach were gorgeous. Photos do not come close to showing the beauty I saw in person. Money well spent and I have no complaints. I did not want to leave and will definitely visit again in the future God willing. I did not take a lot of photos as I wanted to be present and enjoy the day.

The beach was beautiful and the waters were very clear, but we want to give a special shout-out to the staff at the beach club today especially MARK M. for helping us locate a lost wallet. It ended up being in our own backpack so we felt dumb, but before Mark was able to read the message we sent saying that we ended up finding it, he told us he had gone back and swam into the water after his shift to keep looking for the wallet. Even though we found it, we are amazed at the kindness and hospitality of the people in Jamaica. Thanks again! 🇯🇲💙

Fantastic excursion! Great atmosphere, staff, food, and drinks.

Arrived from Oasis of the Seas on an excursion package that included drinks and lunch. Had some good laughs with our driver, arrived at the beach and were shown to some chairs in the shade to spend the afternoon. Our server (I hope I don't get her name wrong) Celine was great: very kind and friendly. We had some nice coctails and a couple of pails of beer. My wife got a relaxing massage from a skilled masseuse on the beach. The lunch that was provided came with vocal entertainment: some really nice songs. Food was very well prepared, very flavourful: tasted like home cooking. It was just what we needed. My son and I enjoyed the waves and sand. In all, was a great value and we left very satisfied and happy. I would recommend this excursion. Great staff, great value, great way to spend the afternoon and experience a bit of Jamaica.

Great service, very clean and youre attended to often by staff. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants a relaxing day by the beach side.

Food was great, polite staff, clean beach

Excellent space for a large group of persons. The fact that food could be brought unto the property is a great benefit. The property has sufficient cabanas, lounge chairs and umbrellas, however the bathroom facilities were not consistently kept cleaned. The depth of the water surprised persons as it is very shallow, even when the rope boundary is passed.

Had an interesting time in Falmouth, Jamaica on a Royal Caribbean trip to Blue Waters Beach Club. Spoiler alert: it's not exactly a postcard beach. Trash and seaweed gave it a unique touch – imagine foot acupuncture with surprise thorns. The bar staff? Let's just say they're not in the customer service hall of fame. co*cktails tasted like someone's wild experiment. The employees wouldn’t do anything if it wasn’t for a tip.The view? Well, it definitely wasn’t paradise, complete with barbed wire. Also, a neighbor found a syringe.Royal Caribbean, your excursion choice didn't exactly hit the high notes. Skip this "Blue Waters" adventure – you’ll never be able to relax because the extremely loud music.

Blue Water Beach in Jamaica is absolutely amazing! 🏖️ The pristine white sand and crystal-clear waters are like something out of a dream. 😍🌊 You'll feel like you're in a tropical paradise. The beach is well-kept, and the surrounding greenery is lush and beautiful. 🌴🌺 You can enjoy sunbathing, swimming, and snorkelling to your heart's content. 🏊‍♂️🌞 And don't forget to try the mouthwatering jerk chicken and sip on fresh coconut water from local vendors. 🍗🥥 The only downside is that it can get a bit crowded during peak tourist seasons, but the sheer beauty of the place more than makes up for it. Whether you're travelling solo or with family, Blue Water Beach is a must-visit destination for a taste of Caribbean paradise. 🌞🌴🏄‍♀️

They accept cash, credit, and debit. It's definitely a 5 out of 5 for this piece of heaven.

The Green Grotto Caves, a popular tourist destination in St. Ann, offers guided tours with historical significance. During the 1700s, it served as a refuge for Spaniards during English invasion and still stands today showcasing magnificent features such as stalactites and stalagmites. The cave also houses an underground lake and a wishing well outside its entrance.

A most wonderful experience. Just go if you can. Our tour guide Dwayne was wonderful he enlightened the darkness of the caves. The knowledge he shared with us was remarkable we interacted so well. I remember visiting the caves when I was a child which is some 30 years ago. Thank you, thank you!!!!

Our next stop after Rose Hall was the Greet Grotto Caves. Truly spectacular. Our tour guide was entertaining and humorous. He was very knowledgeable about the caves and how the slaves used the caves to escape. We toured the caves and saw birds and bats. Our tour guide also showed us stone images and carvings that resembled people, places, and things. He showed us how the slaves communicated in the caves and how dark it was for them. I truly enjoy the caves and our tour guide. He was humorous.

This exploration was very informative and fun. This tour guide provided a lot of information and it was interesting to see the bats, the scents, and sounds. When we entered the deepest part of tour when we climb 60+ steps down, the imagery was nice. The water was so still and clear that it reflected the roof of the cave. The tour guide was filled with tricks and tales of duppy from the formation of one of rocks and switched the lights off, leaving the place pitch black. I am tall so had to very careful at some parts to ensure I didn't bump my head although I had on a helmet 🪖. An informative activity.

We enjoyed the guided tour (~45 min) a lot. Last tour for the day is at 3:30 PM. Admission is USD$20. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly! It was eye opening and everyone had fun.

This place and the history is amazing! The tour guide was hilarious and full of knowledge (she asked us not to take pics but I needed a few for my students, my apologies). The cave, bats, compartments, and water was fascinating for everyone! The walking tour was cool and worth the price of admission!

The tour guide made the trip really adventurous and educational. The caves and the grounds are well maintained. The customer service is great. The entry fee, especially for locals, is very reasonable.

Decided to go for a quick excursion as it was conveniently close to our resort. The family enjoyed the hike into the caves and the guide was very friendly and good with kids. Interior was stunning and offered good photo opportunities. Also, the bats were pretty cool. Not much else is in the immediate area though and the overall experience is about an hour long, so plan your day accordingly if you want to make it part of a larger plan to see more sights.

We took a great tour of the Green Grotto Caves in Falmouth Jamaica December 2022 with a great guide who was educational and entertaining at the same time. The caves were beautiful with an interesting history. The climb was narrow at times and a steep climb. It is challenging if you have mobility or lung issues. Otherwise I highly recommend this experience.

our tour guide was phenomenal. his vast knowledge on the caves and the ecosystem within were such a treat. however if walking isn't easy for you, this excursion isn't for you as you have to walk down quite a few steep narrow steps to get to the bottom to see the underground pond, which is a quick look and then right back up the stairs. dress to be ready to sweat. I was not impressed with the garbage they had left inside of the caves, which is why I docked it one star.

The Green Grotto Caves in Jamaica are an absolute marvel of nature that will leave visitors in awe. This spectacular underground world takes you on a journey through time, with its fascinating rock formations and rich historical significance.Upon entering the caves, you are greeted by a cool and refreshing atmosphere, providing the perfect escape from the Caribbean heat. The limestone formations, stalagmites, and stalactites create a breathtaking sight, as if you have stepped into a hidden treasure trove. The expert guides at Green Grotto Caves bring the history of the caves to life with their engaging stories and informative commentary. You will learn about the caves' use by the indigenous Arawak Indians, as well as their role during the slave trade and pirate era. The caves were even used as a filming location for James Bond movies, adding to their allure.During your visit, you can explore the various chambers and passages, each offering its own unique charm. The Cathedral Chamber with its high ceilings and impressive acoustics is a must-see, and the Grotto Lake adds a touch of enchantment to the experience. For the adventurous souls, the optional caving and zip-lining tour offers an exhilarating way to explore the caves. This is a truly unforgettable experience, as you traverse dark tunnels and zip through the air, getting a unique perspective of the caves from above.Whether you are a nature lover, history enthusiast, or simply seeking an extraordinary experience, the Green Grotto Caves in Jamaica will not disappoint. Immerse yourself in the magic of these ancient underground wonders and create memories that will last a lifetime.

Loved it!!! Went on the tour alone for my bday!!!! It was short enough and spicy, super educational and my tour guide was super awesome, engaging, fun, professional and she answered every single question i asked no matter how ridiculous. All staff members were pleasant. The location sells snacks and it's close to other food spots and pretty close to the beach. I fully recommend!!!

Fantastic cave tour experience. They have included the himan history while preserving the natural state of the cave. There are great formations and wild life in the cave to discover with your guide. Lots of information to take in on the surrounding ground while you await your tour. Clean restrooms as well. Great place for the whole family.

This place was so informational and amazing. It's crazy the history the caverns have from slave hideouts to concerts and parties in recent years. The hiking around wasn't too strenuous, and my young kids had a blast!

A great family outing. Our guide was witty and informative and engaged the persons on the tour.Only downside was bits of litter seen...not a lot....but it took away from the experience for me.

Note, tours begin on the hour, arrive 10 minutes before to sign in and get your hard hat.The tour guide was brilliant, she explained everything we were seeing and delved into the history of the caves. She also mixed in some humour, so had the whole group laughing. Well worth visiting.

Very interesting, 45 minute tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and interactive. I also felt the price was pretty fair, at $20/adult and $10/child.I was slightly disappointed to hear that the boat tour through the underground lake was no longer offered because, apparently, there was a boat mishap some time ago and a person drowned…. Very sad, but perhaps they could make life vests mandatory instead of cutting it out of the tour altogether.

Beautiful caves! East to walk through, nicely made walk ways for those who have difficulty walking on unleaded ground. Huge caves and nice to see how respectful they are for the wildlife.

The guides are authentic and original, not over bearing. They did an amazing job in getting us ready for a proper eco friendly tour. More Jamaicans should be encouraged to experience all the eco friendly opportunities/tours that our island has to offer..

A trip to the Bob Marley Mausoleum in Nine Mile, St. Ann Parish is a vital part of any Jamaican visit. The mausoleum, where the remains of Jamaica's biggest reggae star are interred, is managed by members of his family. A tour of the property with a Rastafarian guide enables visitors to see Bob's bedroom and meditation rock before entering the mausoleum itself.

This is the place to be-9Mile -birth and resting place of the Great. When you talk about spiritual and calm. U can feel it oozing in the air. Pure clean energy. Don't know about Kingston but this mountain top feeling and Bob made the experience one I will never forget. Being so close to the legend was purely inspirational.

This was an enlightening experience and the history amazing. From the walking and experiencing the place where Bob Marley spent most of his years of living, I would visit again and again. What made the tour extra special was my tour guy, he did an amazing job at explaining all the different things about Bob Marley and his existence.

If your in Jamaica then you have to visit the islands legends birth and resting place. The tour team are excellent and give you a good insight into Bob and his life, with more knowledge on the Rastafarian lifestyle. There is a live reggae band after the tour, with cold beer and hot food served if you need it, also a few gift shops. Be prepared marijuana is a way of life for these guys so offering you a spliff and smoking it around the tour is normal. To get to 9 mile is right up in the mountains so make sure you go with a reputable tour guide. Overall this was a great place to visit, thoroughly enjoyed it.

One of the best experiences I've ever had in my life. Our tour guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a ride to get there but it's well worth it.

Whether you're a Bob Marley fan or not, we loved this trip and would highly recommend it. They do take you to a hut where they talk about their produce, (weed etc) you have a choice to buy or not, there's no pressure, it's also legal. We saw where he was born, his mum lived, his other little house, the church they built, his mums mausoleum and his own where he rests with his brother. What a great place.

We had an absolute wonderful day. We travelled from Montego Bay to visit 9 mile. We were very lucky to be assigned to the legend that is Captain Crazy to be our tour guide. He was so funny and informative about Bob Marley. We saw his birth and reading place. A very good trip for anyone who wants to learn more or just pay respect to Bob.

Much more to the experience then expected. The guide was so funny and informative. Also a band performing bobs songs was a real bonus.

So much history and knowledge about the Legend, the Lion, the great Bob Marley. I highly recommend adding this to your excursion list. The travel is a bit hairy on the small country road but it’s worth it

It was very emotional seeing where Bob was buried, however, the museum in Kingston is more inspiring and the crew there is much more engaging. Recommend taking the trip to Kingston.Be careful of the guys outside nine miles as they try con you saying they are going to show you the plantation part of Bob Marleys life and the push you to give them money. Very sad and they stand right outside the gate. Go straight into the gate and don’t let those people outside the compound hustle you.

If you are a Bob Marley fan, this is the place to go.Words of advice: When you get to the museum, there will be two big doors on the left. Drive up to the gate. "Do not let the locals tell you where to park" the museum personnel with have you drive in and park.

The tour was very long but very educational and entertaining. Tour guide know his stuff and has great humor. The museum was amazing and filled with details.

Wonderful being in the place where Bob Marley was born and raised. The mausoleum is somehow transmitting something like “holy” place with the Italian marble where the great Bob is resting in peace. The guide is funny but not really explaining into details. I was expecting to hear more about the Rastafarian religious and some specific insights on Bob’s life. However all together it was a wonderful experience.

To be honest this place is quite far but the journey is worth it. Friendly Tour Guides and a warm bartender, clean and well kept gift shop. It's sad u can take pictures in the grave u can only light a candle in there and come out.

Super cool place.Bob Marley's birthplace in Nine Mile, St. Ann (parish). I learned at least one new thing on this tour: Bob and Bunny Wailer share a sister.. interesting stuff.

Really.sureal place was nice, too, walk around and hear about the rastaman Bob. The only annoying thing was the tour guide not letting out until we tipped ( not shy on tipping, just do it when I like). Otherwise, quite a strange trip but enjoyable

If you're a Bob Marley fan, you will want to check it out. It's $30 pp and if you don't buy tickets online, you will have cash onsite. They don't take credit cards. We felt like the tour was lacking information. You walk up some stairs and pass what looks like an old restaurant.? There's no mention of that.It was cool to see Bob Marley's place where he grew up, his bedroom, and where he's body is at.It was okay. We just felt it could have been better.

Loved this place and the stories. The tour guides were fun, and it was an experience of a lifetime to smoke one in Bobs room. Yes, they try and sell you stuff, but just do what you can to help support the people of jamaica and the Bob Marley foundation. And I even scored some real Jamaican lambs breath herb from nine mile and it was decent too!I actually drove up there in a rental car and it was just mad it the full experience. What a day..

Waterfalls

Dunn's River Falls & Park is a renowned tourist destination in Jamaica that offers visitors an opportunity to experience natural beauty and adventure. The terraced waterfall is popular for climbing and the sandy beach, which comes with a cafeteria, provides breathtaking views. To avoid crowds, it is advisable to call ahead and plan accordingly. The falls cascade some 600 feet into pools before flowing directly into the ocean.

Slide 1 of 20

It was lovely! My team and I went out for a trip to Dunn's River and had so much fun! We climbed the falls, enjoyed the garden area, and loved the beach! We had to try to find a spot to be seated and rest our things though, and eventually we did! There was also the option of zip lining along with beautiful craft pieces and items that could be bought! Dunn's River is beaaauuutiful!

Beautiful scenery, and a hugely enjoyable experience of climbing up the river. Some of the walk was challenging but work together and you can complete it. The guides are extremely helpful and very good and knowledgeable. As they always offer to take photos of you with the waterfall at every opportunity. However a warning, at the end of the Water fall is market which you have to walk through where they try and sell you things, if you just walk and ignore them you will be fine.

Enjoyed the walk down to the beach. The falls is powerful and beautiful. The beach was relaxing. The walk up was a bit breath taking in more ways than one. Lots to see and enjoy if you love nature. If you have the endurance for it the falls is a nice little challenge. I would enjoy the beach first though because walking down, then climbing up then walking back down to walk but up wouldn't be as much fun...

It's the first time in over 10 years that I visited. What a fantastic experience. It was busy when my family and I arrived however the wait was worth it. If you are Jamaican, please bring your ID or it will cost much more.We were allowed to take our igloos, food, juices, water etc. The grounds were well kept and the water was glorious. The staff members were courteous and I had a fantastic day.

Our experience was great. We chose to get to Dunns River EARLY. I think they opened at 8:30 and we got there around 8:45. We walked all the way down to the beach and started climbing up from there. It was beautiful and fun! We had the waterfall to ourselves! After the climb up we walked back to the beach and enjoyed the water a little. We did not use a guide but if you want pictures of your self on the way up might be helpful. We did notice with guided tours they started about 1/4 way up and skipped some parts. I will add photos of what we saw at 9am vs 10:30. Also when you exit be ready for a ton of souvenir shops. Everyone was nice but somewhat pushy trying to hand us things. If you are climbing the falls bring water shoes and a waterproof bag for your phone. We did not do zip lines so can't speak to those.

It was a very beautiful place. I was unable to climb the falls. There are spots, If you can't continue, they can let you head back down. I went to the beach which was out of this world. The water magnificent! Also, they have many other activities to do. The falls aren't the only thing to do there. Check it out one day or soon. The beach was my favorite. The people were friendly for the most part. Keep your shopping to the duty-free stores. And say no to pushy vendors. Other than that, it's a must-see.

This was one of the best experiences of my life! We climbed from the ocean to the top-960 feet. We even did the second half twice! There were a ton of people there, but never seemed crowded. Friendly people, offering to help or take our photo so we could both be in it. In fact, my husband got ahead of me, as I was lolly-gagging, and a sweet women and her daughter from China adopted me until I caught up with him.We booked a afternoon excursion, but only had a couple hours at the park. I would recommend spending the entire day there, climb the falls, enjoy the park amenities, go through the vendor stands, and do the falls again. I would also suggest using one of the guides. They will take photos, give you tips, and show you the easiest way up. The climb looked intimidating, but at 58 & 64 we took it slow and easy, enjoying each new spot and had no trouble! It was a blast and I can’t wait until my grandsons are old enough to go.

I can see why this is very popular. Beautiful and unique. We came by boat, climbed up and then walked back down. Tours were well organized and we enjoyed the climb up. Not appropriate for children. Also, be prepared for artisans along the way back down the steps. We did not have money (you get soaking wet, if you are not aware!). They will follow you to the boat, though.

Beautiful scenery! Not a strenuous walk up the falls. Be careful as there are a couple of spots that are slippery but overall safe. Get there early and avoid the crowds. Also enjoyed going without a guide and having to walk with crowds of ~15.

Such a beautiful location!! Very touristy, but what do u expect. Our tour guide was exceptional and took tons of pics of us throughout the experience. Absolutely adored climbing the falls and enjoying the beach after.

It was absolutely beautiful and we had so much fun. Our guide was amazing and made it very special. I definitely recommend this excursion. We came off a ship out of Montego Bay witch was about an hour and forty five minutes but it was worth it.

Incredible! Had a great time. Water felt cold at first but ended up being so refreshing. Must be careful on the climb, but went with a tour group and always felt safe. Our tour group had people of all ages and everyone was able to make the climb. Great views, fun times.

This is an absolutely amazing place. I would highly recommend doing this hike to anyone who’s visiting Jamaica. My partner and I are frequent hiker. Therefore it wasn’t very difficult for us to do this hike. But for not so physically active people it could present some challenges. I’d rate it as difficultly level-5 for this hike which is moderately challenging. I’d recommend hiring a guide to do this hike instead of venturing out alone. The guides are very good here. They know what they are doing. They usually have you and your party to make a human chain to go up on the sides. They have been in this path a thousand times so they can probably guide you blind folded!I’m amazed by how nicely they maintain the area and the fall itself. Big shout out to the park and Jamaica!

The drive to Dunn's River was peacefully and awe inspiring. Dunn's River was a fun place to be and a great way to meet locals and tourists. The experience of climbing the waterfall from the beach below and immersing yourself in the nature is awesome. The water is cold and greenish (because of the green rocks), but it's an awesome and fun experience. 10/10 I will go there again.

Beautiful. You can experience the falls and even go down to a beautiful beach to spend half or even the whole day at. It's worth the drive and you will be able to have so much fun with the family there. They close at 4pm, as many parks and beaches do so just mind the time and try to get there early enough to enjoy it all.

Nice place to venture with kids. Peaceful and relaxing... We were on vacation. Our guide, Orlando was very welcoming, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and entertaining. He showed us around, helped us climb the falls, took our pictures... We really enjoyed the place. We will certainly come back soon.

Very fun experience hiking up the falls. Although I don't know if they are totally required, some type of water shoe is highly recommended so not to slip on the rocks. They do scrub many of the stones to get the algae off, but can still be slippery in spots. Totally recommend if you are in Jamaica.

This visit surpassed what i had anticipated. It was awesome! The climb up the falls was went well and the tour guides ensured that all visitors local or international were safe as we climbed each section of the falls. A good family or group trip location. There is an option to buy food or drinks... but you can take your coolers and food for large groups. Also the climb was made easier by the proper shoes that was on sale on location. It was a good experience and i definitely plan to visit again!

I love this place! I will definitely be returning. Our tour guide and bus driver were so friendly and helpful. Our excursion guide was so friendly! This excursion was life-changing. I highly recommend The World Famous Dunns. You won’t regret it. 🤗

Do yourself a favor, visit here. Don't be afraid to stick your feet in the water it's really cool and refreshing. This is one of Jamaica's blessings.Do make sure you bring water shoes, Seriously. I brought 5 Finger Shoes and they worked nicely. The Water proof phone case with the neck strap was $12. Bring yours or buy one. You'll want to take pictures.A small locker was $8I spent $5 on Jamaican snack food at the Snack Shack. 😋It's gorgeous. Breathtaking. There are all sorts of wild co*cks and chickens roaming the grounds and don't be surprised by the huge spiders in the trees on the banks.Oh and there's also a craft market so you might want to bring $ to spend there.

Awesome experience!!! Never got this much time with dolphins for a fraction of the price. They get you with the price of pictures but hey, it's worth it. Trainers are very friendly and make dolphins do cool tricks. This place also has a pool, beach and a couple other animals that little ones will love. You can feed love birds, pet bunnies, macaws, and an iguana named Charlie. Really worth your time and money. You won't regret it!!!

Was an amazing experience. Pay the extra to interact with the dolphins. A little pricey food and drinks, the shops need a major update. The main thing I got to dance with a dolphin! Great place to get a picture of your cruise ship

Dolphin Cove is very nice place. We went with tour from Norwegian. We only walked around the grounds. But looked like the dolphin experiences were awesome. We watched and people had a ball. I enjoyed visiting the birds, especially Macalls. My husband had a beer, it was $7 (Corona) with tip and wasn't very cold.

Wonderful family friendly fun, the staff was great and very knowledgeable about each and every single animal on the premises. They keep the vibe high thoughout each activity and gave us pointers on how to full joy every single experience. Will definitely be coming back 😁 👍

We had a great time here. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Dolphin trainer Ronaldo was great. He clearly had a good relationship with the dolphins and had built trust. He shared his knowledge and expertise and made our experience amazing. We also spent time with the stingrays and enjoyed the jungle trail and kayaking

We booked the dolphin excursion through our hotel. It's not cheap but how often do you swim with dolphins. First note...our hotel said to bring cash and wear sneakers. Bring some cash for tips but you definitely need a credit card for pictures. Most people wore ocean shoes and not regular sneakers. Pictures are expensive so we just ordered them for the kids. At the end you download an app and download the pictures to your phone. Lunch was included with our excursion. We were able to get the jerk chicken and rice for free and it would cost money to get other menu items. The jerk chicken and rice were good. Maybe bring water as water is $5. Our small kids don't know how to swim and they were nervous in the beginning but the staff were great and they left happy. We did the short zoo afterwards and the bird guy was cool and birds were feeding off the top of our kids heads. Bring $5 bills for tipping and credit card for pictures and gift shop. I hope the details help with your trip.

I had a amazing time.. Not too expensive..Everyone was very nice an friendly.. An extremely helpful and knowledgeable.. An all animal's was rescued and don't seem to be forced to do anything.. Every family oriented.. An the food was pretty good..

There are dolphins, sharks, stingray, rabbits, iguana, love birds, Macaw at this location and the interaction experience is pretty good. The worst part of this tour is the the photography fee you paid for them taking pictures of you and the dolphins. $130 for 2 people and that’s just digital.

My second time around and it was a great experience. Meet & greet with the dolphins was the highlight of this visit especially because I love these mammals. Overall, the food was good, friendly and efficient staff, its a nice place for your next stop.

This is a very good attraction for the entire family, which includes a mini zoo, pool, slides, engaging with the dolphins (at an extra cost), and kayaking, just to name a few. It is important to visit this attraction before 2 pm (local time ), or you will not be admitted as some of the activities on offer are all at scheduled times. The food is decent and the staff members are very friendly and helpful. My 4 girls enjoyed this one, and it was our second visit....

So much improvement since the last time I've been there. It was truly a lovely day at Dolphin Cove. My daughter, niece and I traversed to the location on a weekday (to avoid crowds) it was busy but perfect to navigate all the activities. Even the pool and jacuzzi were fair in terms of occupancy. The only challenge I had was pricing of the photos, all activities are separately priced. I thought by now they would have offered a special deal for all photos taken on the day (management please look into this). Also so for locals, I was advised that it's cheaper to actually purchase tickets with photo packages at the location.

I had a great experience with the dolphins. The staff were friendly, the photos they took were looked great and cost less than I expected. I didn’t purchase my tickets in advanced because I didn’t want to feel rushed. But no issues and you still need to wait to check in and get a bracelet. The wait to get in with the dolphins was unorganized-we all waited around trying to figure out what we were waiting for our time was 1:15 but didn’t get in until 2pm. I was concerned about seeing everything because they close at 330. But it all worked out fine for me I was done with the dolphins by 230 and I was able to look around. On another note I was concerned about the bunnies they looked sedated.

Went on a cruise excursion, our guide was Ornella, please ask for her, she was absolutely amazing, she cared for us and made sure we were all ok the entire time. Dolphin Cove was great too, so much to do there. Swimming with sting rays, great food, swimming in the beach too......definitely got our money worth with this excursion, would do it over and over again

Theme Parks

Mystic Mountain Adventure Park is an eco-friendly attraction located in the heart of Ocho Rios, Jamaica. The park offers a variety of exciting adventure tours suitable for all ages, including bobsledding, zip-lining and the sky explorer chairlift. Visitors can enjoy stunning views of Ocho Rios from the peak of Mystic Mountain, which rises over 700 feet above sea level amid a tropical forest.

Slide 1 of 15

This was truly a experience to remember, the ride to get to the mountain is a combination of breathtaking views while being nervous all at once. The chairlift ride goes 700 feet high above the trees. You can hear the birds and see the beauty below. The rides are amazing, although I didn't get the do the zip line I had a wonderful time. They have restaurants, souvenirs shops, beautiful place to take pictures. Also on the bobsled ride and the chairlift ride take your pictures and you can purchase then for keepsake.

Very cool. Very awesome. The staff are friendly and jovial and they help to make the experience memorable. I would do this again....in a few years. My heart is still recovering 😊

The view from the sky explorer was breathtaking & the variety of activities is great too. Zip lining & bobsled is not for the faint hearted but you’ll enjoy it. Mystic is a 9/10

We booked this as an excursion through Disney Cruise Line. My son, age 11, loved the zip lines and mountain coaster. The staff was wonderful: friendly, professional and they were really funny. The zip line crew pretended they weren’t paying attention a few times just as I was about to crash. All in good fun. They made it exciting.Mountain coaster was my favorite. A good long ride down the mountain. Tip the guy $5 and he’ll let you go again. We took a shuttle from the port to Mystic Mountain. It’s about an hour drive along the coastline. A great way to see the country. It’s a long day, you definitely go home exhausted. But we’ll worth the trip.#OrlandoParksGuy

This was THE BEST fun I've had! Thank you, beautiful Jamaica! The staff were all so helpful and kind. Funny, too! The zip line was the most fun, in my opinion. I enjoyed myself very much and i feel like a kid again leaving here.

Whew Chile! The views. The staff. The strength. The energy. The cleanliness. The comfort. The peace. JUST AMAZING! It was an experience I'll never forget & it just reminded me to never look down...always look up 😄 So happy we have a place like this to go to in JA. My family & I had a great time. We will be back!

Fun place but have cash on hand. CC machine was broken when we got there. Fun activities, including bobsled, zip line and infinity pool.No food, just small drink kiosk, some souvenirs available also.Place offers bathrooms, changing rooms and lockers.Come early or secure reservations before arrival. By 1 pm guests not with tours were being turned away.

It was awesome, I full joy the day, the tours were lovely and the staff was accommodative them no partial, treat them own ppl good and everyone equal jus keep up the good works guys. Bobsled, got me all shaky! And safety is 100% for them.. I keep on enjoying my island,

Lets start with the physical location. Its up in the mountains and the views are breathtaking. There are so many activities you can do here as an adult or with your family and friends. My personal favorites are the ATVs and raggamuffin rollercoaster ride. There is a restaurant as well with some really great food options.Add this your trip list if you're planning to visit Jamaica.

My brother and I had the best experience. Went on all the rides, many times. Loved the Zipline even though I was scared of heights. The beautiful surroundings and customer service was amazing. Only regret was not having enough tip $$ for the zip line guys. They were so awesome 👌

Nice little amusem*nt park with various things to do. Guides are knowledgeable and friendly. Some of the rides may have a little bit of a wait depending if a cruise ship comes into port. The roller coaster could be a little bit faster but it was exciting. The Bob Sled ride was awesome just kinda short ride. The Zip Line through the rainforest was wonderful and the guides made the adventure fun. The Sky Lift ride to the top of the mountain was a beautiful ride up. There is a Hummingbird area that is very cool to take a break and watch these beautiful birds. Our overall experience was great and definitely suggest if your in the area pay them a visit.

The place is lovely. Conroy at the obstacle course was awesome and entertaining. The view up to the sleds was spectacular. Just smile for the cameras and you will have your keep sakes to look back on. I love the ambiance from entry to the finish spot.

Went on bobsled and obstacles challenge with my boys. Really enjoyed it. The sky explorer to reach mystic mountain was wonderful experience. It is fun place to visit. Staff was very helpful. The view from my mountains were magnificent.

They really need to make it very obvious that you will be taking a death ride up to the top in order to do any rides. I was so scared this really stressed me out. Enjoyed the bobsled ride though along with the pool and beautiful views

The Rainforest Adventure experience which includes the Sky Explorer, Reggae Rock, Infinity Pool, Bobsled etc. seems a little outdated and needs an upgrade as the experiences are very underwhelming and short lived. They only allow you to do the bobsled once, which only lasts around 3 minutes.Although on the website it says you can only add the ATV experience on the day, once we got there, despite there being only a handful of people there (at 10am), they said it was not available/fully booked. The adventure park clearly needs some more investment to make the experience worthwhile as the current rate (starting from $99) is overpriced. In addition to this, I would not go here if you have no kids involved. The best part of the park is the initial Sky Explorer, similar to a ski-lift, which takes you into the park, provides great views and tranquility of nature. The staff in the adventure park seem to be more interested in having phone conversations and most had earphones on, clearly distracted, rather than attending to the health & safety of the visitors.Despite the drawbacks of the whole experience, the food was very good and the service from the waitresses was attentive. The only positive I can take.

Outdoor Activities

This pristine white-sand beach offers everything from water sports and picnic spots to shaded palm trees, making it a popular spot among families. The beach is enriched with activities such as golfing, spa treatments, and kids camps, ensuring that everyone can find something to enjoy while they're in town.

Slide 1 of 14

I'm impressed on the maintenance and cleanliness. Thank you to staff and security that all put in the work to make the space beautiful. Today was just beautiful

Lovely beach. Quick tip , entrance is $5, beach chairs $5 , umbrella $5. So if you’re thinking this beach is free it’s not. Love the view and they play music . There’s one shop that sells refreshments. Weed will be advertised to u by vendors if you’re not interested simply say no and they move on. I enjoyed my visit here will definitely be back

We came to the beach on 10/30/2023 and it was very clean and peaceful. I wasn't gonna let an earthquake ruin my vacation (don't ask, google it) so we went to the beach and barely anybody was there, but we enjoyed the quietness. There were people on the beach selling beach chairs and drinks (smoothies and stuff) but we didn't get any of that. We sat in the water for an hour. The sea water here is warm and clean (no trash) if you stay at sandcastles apartments or the large resort hoom palace you have complementary access to the beach. If you are staying somewhere else you can pay less than $5 USD to enter the beach

It is a really nice, clean beach to take the family or to just go by yourself and have a good time or to relax, and the water isn't very deep in most areas so it's an overall great beach.

Wonderful beach for $200JMD. Warm white sand with clear blue waters. Clean and spacious. Lovely view of the cruise ships and houses on the hill side. There are chairs and umbrellas for a cost. No music, but you can bring your own. Showers and washrooms are clean enough. You may get guys coming up to you for jet skiing, etc. It's close to many restaurants and shops.

This beach was so beautiful! No waves and just clear blue water. You’re allowed to bring food in and you do have to pay to get on the beach. Other than that it was absolutely gorgeous. My son even enjoyed some ice cream on the beach from the ice cream man. We love Jamaica!

Had a really great time at this beach. Nice white sandy beach with clean water. You have to pay to get in but it’s not that expensive. They have an area to wash off the salty water and sand before you leave. They have lockers to keep your things safe but you have to pay for it. They also have beach chairs and umbrellas but you have to pay for it 😏

Affordable and clean. I just don't like the fact that when you stand at certain parts in the water, it feels soft and slippery like mud, just a yukky feeling. It's quite cozy and they allow you to bring your own food and they have space provided for large groups.

Available to the public but you have to pay to enter. Not expensive ....$200 jmd for adults $100 for kids. Very calm and tranquil. Safe secure. Good place to go relax and not be bothered. Water has seaweed growing all through it and roped in areas are not very deep.

Nice spot to chill with friends and family. You can play your music, take your food, and just enjoy your day. The staff is very helpful and willing. We rented some umbrellas and chairs and just enjoyed the day

Beautiful beach wasn’t crowded I had free access to the beach but the entry is 2$ US for adults. Water was warm & not deep at all.

Beautiful beach , with a lovely view of the hotels in the area and the ships coming in. It wasn't crowded when I went and the water wasn't too deep. A nice beach to chill with the family. Entrance fee is $200 for adults and you can carry food in. The location is good as it's near to many food places and good parking spaces close to the beach.

Clean beach with clear warm waters. $200JM fee to enter. Beach chairs and umbrellas can be rented for a fee. There are trash cans and benches nearby. The seaweed was a uncomfortable to navigate around.

Public beach, a bit of a rarity around here. Small fee. Water activities nearby. Large parking. Nice walkway just outside the beach.

Konoko Falls is a hidden gem in Jamaica, featuring a botanical garden, cascading waterfall and zoo. The gardens are adorned with well-nourished flower beds that are divided by streams filled with various marine creatures such as Mullet, Crayfish, Turtles and Carp. Visitors can learn about the island's flora and fauna as well as the Taino Indians while taking in breathtaking views of Ocho Rios.

Had an absolutely amazing time here! One of my favorite spots to chill and climb the falls. Please ensure you wear shoes with grip with climbing the falls. You need to check out here if you haven’t. Friendly staff and it’s only $1,500 for adults.

Was an amazing place to go for 1 or 2 hours.. full of nature. I really enjoy it! The guide was super nice and teaches me a lot! Very knowledgeable and to have the snake, iguana and guacamayo in my hands was the best!

( FOR MORE INFORMATION VISIT OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL "JAMAICA WALK BY")Very beautiful and well kept grounds, staff was helpful and friendly. Unfortunately my experience wasn't that great as I didn't get a tour guide and also certain activities were restricted due to covid (I visited December 2021). The falls were so beautiful however the steps to access the falls 😢 😪 it was terrible going down and even worse coming back up.I did a vlog of the property from the entrance all the way down to the falls, you can check it out

Beautiful place for photography as it has gorgeous views, botanical garden, aviary and various animals to interact with. The food was quite good and most of the staff was quite friendly. It is a good place to go with groups. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the various flora and fauna in the botanical garden. However, the place lacked the necessary bathroom facilities and had no changing rooms, so the bathroom was the only area available for changing your clothing. Certain areas were in need of repair, such as some railings on the steps that led to the bottom of the falls that were barely attached and shaking, as well as one on the walkway to the lookout area was broken. Some areas on the steps were somewhat steep, which you had to maneuver carefully, which made climbing down and up the stairs a task for both the young, old and not so in shape. There were mainly two swim spots to choose from on the falls; one at the top that was usually crowded and the other way at the bottom of the falls below the 200+steps. Though there were some little spots here and there, one would have to climb either up or down the falls to get to it.There was a pool area at the top near the garden area, but you would have to pay an extra $500JMD to rent a life jacket to swim in it, as it did include an 8ft deep area. So if you didn't walk with extra cash, you couldn't enjoy that area. The card machine at the food area was not working the day I visited, so the use of my card was out of the question and it also closed off at 4pm and so you were not allowed to purchase anything after that, which was strange to me being that people were still at the park in abundance and would probably still need some form of refreshment. Food service took a while for my group as some people had to wait over an hour to get their meal.Overall if you love taking beautiful pictures, cooling off in the rushing waters of the waterfalls and sightseeing, this would be an ideal place to visit friends and family.

Beautifully kept nature area. I really enjoyed the garden tour and seeing the native plants. The falls were beautiful and the view from the overlook was breathtaking. The animals they have here are neat. a great learning experience. I recommend fully.

A great place for a family to visit while in the area. Our 3 year old was able to climb the falls as well as 70+ year old mother. The park and grounds are nice as well to see local flora and fauna as well as some animals.

Nice experience there is the fall and a huge park to see birds and plants. The issue that the restaurant was close for COVID. To go here is suggest to book.

It's a little excursion that packs a lot of history of the island and it's beauty in a day. There's a lot of walking up and down hills on uneven footing, but our tour guide took the time to ensure all were safe. A surprise of local wildlife during the tour was a fun twist!

I must say the experience here was amazing, lovely everything that's good. I spent my 25 birthday on March 8,2023 here trust me I didn't want to leave. My family and I enjoyed everything moments. And too our tour guide Jermaine you did a great job. Definitely coming back.

Very lovely place. Great for school trips and family outings alike. However, I must say this, the Falls are very mossy, which cases slippy rocks, and some holes are full of clay. It brings naturality to the area, but I'm sure it can be given more cleaning and care. Overall, for the price, it is worth it. And you are free to leave at anytime.

We went here on an excursion from our Caribbean cruise. The falls were really beautiful. The guides take you up the falls walking through the water. It was actually a lot of fun. It could possibly be dangerous without water shoes. They conveniently sell them there for 10 bucks lol in case you forget to bring your own. Be prepared to get soaking wet, there is no way not to unless you chose to just walk along the path and not do the walk through in the water. That is an option if you don’t want to get wet. We went in January and it was surprisingly hot out. When you leave be careful because the local vendors will harass you to buy souvenirs from them. They go way overboard with it too. Overall it was a fun day.

Great smaller falls and be ready to climb up via the falls or stairs. Pretty little park zoo with flora and fauna and animals.

Peaceful, with a wide variety of animals. Consisting of two rooms, The museum was pleasant. Great walk over the waterfalls and a beautiful view of the bay.

Cool Blue Hole offers visitors a beautiful and tranquil spot to enjoy the rushing waterfalls and swimming holes in Jamaica.

Slide 1 of 9

My adventurous teenagers loved the blue hole jumping. Beautiful spot, safe and trustworthy guides. Take cash to buy souvenirs, beers along the trail and fresh local jerk chicken. Water shoes are a must so take them too. We had to buy some which ate up all our extra cash so go prepared.

The Blue Hole was the best experience I had in Jamaica. The tour guide Brennon was very courteous, careful and informative (was recommended to me by a Trini who visited before)The place was breathtaking. The rivers, waterfalls, the Blue Hole 😍 everything wow.I even got a mud bath from mud that the tour guide got from behind the waterfalls. Also note, "I took the jump" I did it afraid 😃

This was one of our favorite stops during our trip. Our guide was friendly and informative. He made sure we felt safe at each jump. He also made sure we had a good time. I wish I remembered his name. He told us a little Jamaican history, too. This is worth the trip. You won't be disappointed.

Stunning colours in the water. Fantastic garden scenery. Exciting over water activities. The guide was affable & patient. Blue Hole is through & through fun from arrival to departure. I suggest sneakers or water shoes instead of slippers or flip flops as the practical and appropriate footwear. Tip your guide, he will deserve it.

Loved the entire excursion! Shout out to Dr. Fun for the private tour (book with him directly; Google Dr. Fun tours in Jamaica). If you book with your resort your time will be limited. A private tour will include the excursion as long as you'd like, a city tour, and personalized experience.

Great place to visit, not sure if it's man made or natural. The reason why I'm saying it because there is a big collecting water conduit and a hydroelectric plant close to the location. Our guide was super helpful and went above and beyond with the help, service and welcoming.I prefer this place way better than the overcrowded Dunn's River Falls park.

Blue hole is a 20 minute drive from the ocho rios town, the drive to the river is very narrow & the road isn’t the best but its passable but scenic views makes up for all that. Ensure to bring a waterproof phone bag w a string to go around your neck, water shoes cash and maybe a water bottle. Admission is $1000 JMD and you get a your guide who will take you up a 15 minute walk up a slope and through the water to ensure safely, please tip these guys this is how they get paid!!!! Along the walk upstream you have a few local craft vendors and others selling cold beverages. Lockers and changing rooms are available, be sure to wear a life jacket always also. I don’t advise for small children to come here as the water is very deep, its mostly swings and ledges to jump off of and the current at the popular jump spot is very strong! Overall the property is incredibly beautiful, so many amazing views…if you love nature, swimming, hikes & adventurous stuff? Perfect place!!!!

If you ever want a implanted memory, visiting this spectacular place will do it for you. We had Carlos as a guide, very attentive, respectful and professional. At this point it’s not a rip off like many of the other tour places, it’s basic which makes it even more enjoyable as treated as a person not a financial commodity.A must is to wear the shoes that grip and can go into water. Just brilliant absolutely brilliant

Google maps navigates clearly to location. The experience is fantastically beautiful and the guides are amazing, the are careful and considerate and deserving of any tips. At first glance the booking and set up may no look genuine and location can be a bit secretive however having gone through the experience I found there was nothing to worry about and I would highly recommend this experience.

Love how 100 feet of sand is all that separates a dip in the river from a dip in the ocean.

If you are in white River, make sure you pull up at Merl's Fish Joint. Trust me, you'll enjoy every bit of it. The best fish in White River is here at Merl's Fish joint fresh fish daily good vibes and the best fish cook in town !!

It was a fantastic day at the river

Concept is cool. Unfortunately felt very commercialized on this short maybe 20 minute ride. People trying to sell you jewelry, drinks, and more along the river bed. You are told the ride will be 45 minutes, but that is only if you stop to do the shopping on the river banks.

Don't waste your time and money rafting here. I got so angry after rafting here I drove straight to the Rio Grande. Every time I come back to Jamaica I go to the best rafting the Rio Grande. There is no comparison.

Fun activity for couples or a group.

It was a enjoyable experience there. River cold and nice, not too deep, wide and shade over it. The sea is clean and nice

it's something you have to see all the guides were great. We arranged our trip with the cab driver in town so l am not sure what the real cost is.

Great place for rafting. Great atmosphere. The rafters are very friendly and helpful. The locals are friendly and welcoming. Well recommend
