Need to make a stop on your way or share your Boltjourney with friends? No more switching destinations mid-journey, you can now add extra stops before getting a ride!
It really couldn’t be simpler!
First, open the Bolt app. Next, when you’re searching for your required destination, you’ll see a small plus sign on the right side of the address box. That’s where all the magic lies — tap on the ‘+’ to create an additional stop to your journey.
You can have up to three stops in a single trip, the last one being the final destination on your journey.
Be sure to share your arrival time with your friends so they’ll know when to step out of the door.
Do I need to inform my driver that we’re going to make extra stops?
After thetrip has been started, the driver sees the route with all the stops on the map of his Bolt driver app. So, technically, your driver is aware that you’ll do multiple stops along the way. But if you wish to start a conversation, then it’s definitely a good ice-breaker.
The feature is being rolled out gradually and should be available for everyone soon. To use it, you’ll need to make sure that your Bolt app is updated to the latest version. P.S. Did you know that you can get a discount on your next trip?

That will definitely score you a high Bolt driver rating afterwards in the app. Also, be attentive to the weather. A rainy day will make people request for more rides. So, pay attention to the weather forecast news – they may very well give you guidance on when to hit the streets.
You can add multiple stops to your ride by tapping the '+' icon on the right side of the address box. And don't worry if you're already on a ride — you can add an extra stop mid-journey. You can have up to four stops in a single ride — the last one being the final destination on your journey.

The option to enable rides towards your destination helps you receive trips going towards your chosen location. You can tap on the pin icon on the home screen to turn the feature on and manage your destinations.
If you want to tip the courier, you can do so via the app on the checkout screen before confirming your order or with cash in person. Leaving a tip via the app is only possible if you're paying by card or with Bolt Balance.
You and your driver can edit a journey's destination at any moment before the driver confirms the end of the journey. You can do it from your app by clicking on the destination address.
