Beautiful Wife is better or a Brainy Wife
Good morning everyone present here, I stand before you to express my views on ' Beautiful Wife is better or a Brainy Wife’; and I am going to speak against the motion.
I strongly believe it is far better to have a brainy wife than a beautiful wife. You must be amazed at my choice; well, I have the experiential data that proves beautiful wives are far worse than Pandora’s Box. A beautiful wife will devote all her resources and energies in maintaining her beauty and looks. It means she will spend money and time on maintaining that beauty at the cost of house-hold obligations and duties. This will lead to disorder and chaos at home.
Secondly, I know many cases involving men who had beautiful wives and who were thrown into depression and misery on account of the infidelity, liaisons, and extra-marital relations.
I strongly believe in the famous idiom ‘beauty is only skin-deep’ which means a person’s physical appearance is less important than his character is enough to convey that beauty of mind is more important than beautiful complexion. Beautiful complexion may appeal to the senses, but beauty of the mind appeals to the soul.
It has been seen that fair complexioned women have always been synonymous with sandals, conflicts and wars. For example, Helen of Sparta, for whom thousands of soldiers had to die in vain. Even in the contemporary times we see so many controversies surrounding the so called fair-complexioned women or men, especially the celebrities.
On the other hand, a brainy wife is a gift from heaven; she is sensible, responsible, and runs the family engine quite efficiently. Someone has very wisely said: ‘Beauty isn’t about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart, and most importantly, a beautiful soul.’ Really beautiful people are those whose mind is beautiful and an people who think beautiful thoughts and do beautiful deeds. A brainy wife surely thinks great thoughts. She is not the cause of any tension; rather she reduces tensions and manages the family and relationships well.
So, I conclude my debate by saying that a brainy wife is better than beautiful wife.
