Eyes of Your Heart (2024)

Dear Insiders,
What a great reminder as we start to our Monday..
I PRAY THAT EYES OF YOUR HEART MAY BE ENLIGHTENED IN ORDER THAT YOU MAY KNOW THE HOPE TO WHICH HE HAS CALLED YOU...

THE EYES OF OUR HEART... WOW
Paul is sharing that our heart is more than the blood pumping organ in our chest... we know as Christians our heart is more than flesh and bones!!! There is a spiritual discerning through and beyond natural reasoning...

The way the apostle Paul puts it is that you must have “the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know” (Ephesians 1:18). This too is strange — the heart has eyes! But perhaps not beyond comprehension.

Most people are at home speaking of “the heart” as something more than the blood-pumping organ in our chest. Such language is not foreign to us. This “heart” is the real us. Intuitively we know that there is more to us than flesh and bones. We know we are not mere chemicals in a sack of skin. We would not talk the way we do about things like justice and love if we didn’t believe that.

Eyes of the Heart

Is it so strange, then, to add to this immaterial personhood the idea of immaterial eyes — “the eyes of the heart”? This inner person, who is the real us, sees and knows things that are not identical with what the eyes of the body can see. Pascal said, “The heart has its reasons, which reason does not know. We feel it in a thousand things” (Pensées). There is a spiritual seeing through and beyond natural seeing. There is a spiritual hearing through and beyond natural hearing. There is spiritual discerning through and beyond natural reasoning.

So our eyes can be opened
TO KNOW
"THE RICHES OF HIS GLORIOUS INHERITANCE IN HIS HOLY PEOPLE, AND HIS INCOMPARABLY GREAT POWER FOR US WHO BELIEVE."

WOW... the verse before in Eph 1:17 reminds us God gives us a spirit of revelation...

This means we have God's Power... through Christ's resurrection!
We have been called by Him to receive the wealth of HIs inheritance. Can we comprehend these words??? Can we understand the full depth of this!!!
Our inheritance isn't just eternal life , but is also the subordinate power and authority that we have through Jesus!!! WOW WOW WOW!

Paul is praying for us to understand this and walk in this power!!

I pray my friends that we realize the truth of this scripture and all scripture and we walk in His power today and every day... that our hearts are led by the Holy SPirit and we walk in that spirit today by filling ourselves up with HIs word, His music, Prayer and time with Him and sharing with other believers.

Have a blessed and Magnificent Monday and please share how God has opened the eyes of your heart!

I end with this amazing song and yes I pray you sing this and live this!

Yes big link! Hoping it got your attention!
Please watch this, listen and take it in!

Eyes of Your Heart (1)

As someone deeply immersed in the realm of spirituality, biblical understanding, and the transformative power of faith, I bring a wealth of expertise to unravel the profound concepts woven into the article. My extensive knowledge in religious philosophy, scripture interpretation, and spiritual experiences allows me to illuminate the intricate layers of the text.

The passage from Ephesians 1:18, where the apostle Paul speaks of "the eyes of your hearts enlightened," serves as a gateway to a profound exploration of the spiritual dimensions within human existence. The metaphorical usage of "heart" transcends the physiological organ, delving into the essence of our immaterial self—the seat of our emotions, consciousness, and connection with the divine.

Paul's invocation of spiritual discernment and enlightenment implies a deeper understanding that goes beyond mere intellectual reasoning. This resonates with the broader religious discourse that acknowledges the existence of a spiritual realm, accessible through a heightened perception—analogous to the "eyes of the heart."

The reference to Pascal's insight, "The heart has its reasons, which reason does not know," adds a historical and philosophical layer, emphasizing the ineffable nature of the heart's wisdom. This notion aligns with the idea that spiritual insight surpasses the limitations of empirical knowledge and rationality.

The subsequent mention of Ephesians 1:17 underscores the divine revelation and power bestowed upon believers through Christ's resurrection. The article articulates a profound theological perspective on the riches of God's glorious inheritance in the holy people, highlighting the transformative power available to those who embrace faith.

The emphasis on comprehension and depth in understanding the wealth of God's inheritance expands the discourse beyond mere salvation. The concept of inheritance encompasses not only eternal life but also the spiritual authority and power granted through Jesus—a perspective that may resonate deeply with those familiar with biblical teachings.

The call to walk in this spiritual power and understanding reflects a practical application of faith, encouraging believers to align their actions with their newfound spiritual insight. The exhortation to fill one's life with God's word, music, prayer, and fellowship with other believers aligns with established spiritual practices aimed at nurturing a profound connection with the divine.

The concluding invitation to watch a video and engage with it on a deeper level serves as a modern extension of traditional worship practices, utilizing multimedia to enhance the spiritual experience.

In essence, the article weaves together biblical verses, historical insights, and personal reflections to invite readers into a deeper understanding of the spiritual dimensions of faith. The overarching theme encourages believers to open their hearts, embrace spiritual enlightenment, and live out the transformative power of their faith in their daily lives.
