PARIS, March 29 (UPI) —Security precautions to prevent jumping off the Eiffel Tower failed last night when a man fell to his death from the first platform of the steel structure. The police identified the victim as Jean Lebon, 53 years old, who lived near the tower. His death was the 328th since the tower was erected 75 years ago.
