How to use Netflix on your Sharp TV or Blu-ray player (2024)

To connect your Sharp TV, Blu-ray player, or home theater system to your Netflix account, make sure you are on the Home screen and select the option below that best describes your device.

If you see the Netflix icon on-screen

  1. From the home screen, select Netflix.

  2. Select Member Sign in.

  3. Enter your Netflix email address and password.

  4. Select Continue.

Your device is now connected to your Netflix account.

To start over or sign in with a different email address at any point during this process, use the arrow keys on your controller to enter the following sequence:

  • Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, Up, Up, Up, Up

  • Select Sign Out, Start Over, or Deactivate.

If you don't see the Netflix icon on-screen

  1. Press the Dock or Apps button on your Sharp remote.

    Note:

    If you don't see the Dock or Apps button, press the SmartCentral button on your remote, then locate and select Apps.

  2. Select the Netflix icon.

  3. Select Sign In.​

  4. Enter your Netflix email address and password.

  5. Select Continue.

Your device is now connected to your Netflix account.

If you're using a smart TV

  1. Go to the Netflix home screen, then go left to open the menu.

If you're using a Blu-ray player or home theater

  1. Select the Menu button on your remote.
