And BTS have done it again! Are we even surprised at this point? From albums to merchandise and even daily use items like lip balms, BTS have the power to sell out items within a matter of minutes. So it comes to no one's surprise that the global sensation sold out their free concert as well.
Backtracking a bit, BTS are set to hold a free concert in Busan on October 15 to support South Korea’s bid to host the 2030 World Expo. Though the concert is free, the tickets are being allocated through a lottery system via two rounds of giveaways.

The first round of designated seating was only for the fans who have the official ARMY membership. Held on September 14 KST, the tickets sold out in a jiffy. With the second round being held on September 19 KST for everyone, fans expected the tickets to also sell out quickly. However, what they didn't expect was that the tickets would be gone within 35 seconds!

Though it took around 15 minutes for the website to process the data and show that all the tickets were sold out, the raffle was allegedly over within just a few seconds. After less than a minute, people were unable to reserve seats.

According to fans, who were in the queue for the raffle, there were initially about 450,000 people in the waiting room. However, the server crashed due to such heavy traffic and the waiting line went down to 156,000 people.

With the giveaways coming to end, BTS are all set to perform in front of an estimated 100,000 people. The concert will be held at the Busan Asiad Main Stadium and will last for 90 minutes. According to reports, Lotte World has announced ‘The City’ project, which is aimed to organize multiple events in Busan to celebrate the boy group’s concert. This will include BTS-centric souvenirs, facilities by luxury hotels and city-wide décor.
