Songify is a fun, free Android app that lets you create your very own pop songs in just a few seconds.
With Songify, you simply speak a few words into the app and it will auto-tune your voice and add a funky beat behind it. To do this you just press the big button in the center of the screen then speak into your phone. Then, within a few seconds, your song will be played back to you.
The quality of the songs you can produce with Songify is surprisingly good, and even if you just spout gibberish into the microphone, you can get a catchy tune out of it. There are four different beats to choose from in Songify, and you can pay to get new beats for your collection.
The songs generated by Songify can be anything up to 1 minute 10 seconds, which in itself isn't a problem but they can end very abruptly in the middle of a lyric, which is frustrating since you have no control over this.
The great thing about Songify is that you can share your creations with your friends via Twitter, Facebook, email, etc. You can also set your Songify track as your ringtone. There's even a Songify billboard chart, challenging you to get your track to the top.
