Should have gone to Specsavers ..... Well this year’s X Factor sensation James Arthur did ... and has become famed for not just his talent, but his trademark look.
The 23-year-old singer and rapper was fitted with new spectacles at his local Specsavers store in Redcar, a seaside town in North Yorkshire, UK, ahead of his weekly appearances in the live shows.
Val Beaumont, Specsavers store director said: “We have enjoyed serving James and his family for years and we are delighted that he has been so successful on the show and that Specsavers is still his number one choice for glasses.”
James Arthur’s glasses have become a talking point on The X Factor and when he appeared without his quirky thick-framed specs recently, his mentor Nicole Scherzinger was inundated by shocked fans demanding that his original look be restored immediately.
