Do you get free drinks in the suite Lounge on Royal Caribbean? ›

There are complimentary drinks available in the suite lounge during happy hour for those sailing in grand suites and above. If you are sailing on an Oasis class ship, there is also free beer, wine, soda and bottled water available from 11am to 11pm.

Diamond Plus and Pinnacle Club members of the Crown & Anchor Society and guests reserved in our Suites (excluding Junior Suites) can take advantage of the Concierge Lounge.

All suites in the Royal Caribbean Suites program have access to certain benefits. Our Junior Suites, Grand Suites, Ocean View/ Panoramic (No Balcony) Suites, and Owner's Suites all receive priority boarding, and our Royal Suite and Villa Suite guests are escorted onboard by an officer.

Book early.

If you want the best price on a suite, put down your deposit as soon as bookings open on your preferred sailing. Not only will you get a good price, but you'll likely get extra value from early-booking perks, such as free onboard credit, beverage packages, tips and Wi-Fi.

Simply purchase 1 Deluxe Beverage Package (which includes alcohol), then buy a Refreshment Package for another guest (which is strictly non-alcoholic drinks). When the person with the Deluxe Package purchases alcohol, they can give some to the other person on the sly.

The Junior Suite. Junior suites are smaller than a regular suite but more importantly, typically don't have a solid separation between the bedrooms and living area. These suites have small living areas that are an extension of the bedroom space and don't come with dining areas.

J3 is for triple and quqd occupancy (you can add a child below 3 years old in crib.) J4 is for double occupancy. In some situations, J3 may be in sale for a double occupancy.

A Grand Suite is much roomier, more like a better than average hotel room. The other is amenities. In a Junior Suite, you get the Suite privileges of priority boarding and disembarkation, and double points in the frequent cruise program, and that's it.

Can you put 5 people in a Royal Caribbean suite? ›

Royal Caribbean offers several staterooms with an occupancy of 5 or more guests. These staterooms are typically larger and may have additional beds or sofa beds to accommodate more guests. Staterooms with an occupancy of 5 or more are currently not available to book on the web.

Book a 'guarantee' cabin

With a "guarantee" cabin, you leave it up to the cruise line to assign you accommodations either in the category you booked or a better one. The bet is that your category will sell out, and the cruise line will have to move you up for free — say, from an outside to a balcony cabin.

Even on smaller, more luxurious ships that don't feel crowded, a balcony is desirable; if the weather is such that you can spend a lot of time on your balcony, it's like having an additional room.
