If you are a superstar, you definitely have the licence to do ridiculous things. Even the most fashion-savvy actors come out of airports in the middle of the night or in the wee hours of the morning, looking like blind mice.
When we asked a top actress, who recently returned from her holiday, as to why she wore dark glasses when stepping into the city in pitch darkness, she said, “I hadn’t slept too well on the flight and knew there would be photographers at the airport.
Since I didn’t want them to capture my puffy eyes, I got off the flight wearing my shades.”
Well, the female superstar is in august company. There are several others, who arrive at midnight with sunglasses. We assume it’s for the following reasons...
To hide red/puffy eyes.
The shades add to their aura.
It helps them avoid direct eye-contact with other travellers and fans at airports.
They can avoid looking at the paparazzi waiting outside the arrival lounge. And, like another actor added, “The shades help if you have had one too many on the flight.”
So, now you know that the stars are definitely not just making a fashion statement when they hide behind those designer glasses.
