Can normal CDC voucher use in supermarket?

The CDC vouchers can be used at all participating heartland merchants, hawkers and supermarkets island wide.
Those with Community Development Council (CDC) vouchers to spend can now also head to Giant and Ang Mo supermarkets to use them. This brings the total number of supermarkets that accepts the CDC vouchers up to seven.
CDC Vouchers Go Where
Visit go.gov.sg/cdcvouchers to search for the nearest participating hawkers and heartland merchants, and participating supermarkets.

Giant Singapore clarified in a Facebook post that the CDC vouchers cannot be used at its self-checkout counters as they need to be presented to a cashier. Besides these supermarket chains, CDC vouchers are also accepted by participating heartland hawkers and merchants.
Spend your CDC vouchers
Just a note though, you won't be able to use your CDC vouchers to buy alcohol, cigarettes, or any lottery products. Look out for a teal sign (hawkers and heartland stores) or a bright yellow sign (supermarket) sign to see where you can spend your vouchers.
For 2023. Every Singaporean household can claim their S$300 worth of CDC vouchers, S$150 of which can be redeemed at participating supermarkets, with new additions being Giant and Ang Mo Supermarket outlets. The five participating supermarkets include FairPrice, Sheng Siong, Prime, Hao Mart, and U Stars.

How do I use hardcopy CDC voucher?
If you are using printed vouchers, simply present the voucher's QR code to the merchant and they will scan it to apply the discount.
If you do not have a smartphone to redeem the e-vouchers, you can collect physical vouchers at the nearest community centre.

Multiple vouchers may be used in a single transaction and any unused amount or value in a voucher is not refundable.
