Does airhead candy have pork in it?
Both Airheads Bars and Airheads Xtremes are Halal since they contain no animal-derived ingredients.
Airheads are nice and chewy.
All flavors of regular airheads, as well as Airhead Xtremes, are vegan. So, you can choose between sweet and sour flavors this Halloween.
Quite sadly, it will remain so. The Airheads Xtremes Sourfuls have gelatin, and thus cannot be considered vegan. It also has a bunch of other questionable ingredients such as artificial flavors, palm oil, as well as added colors.
Airheads bars and Airheads Xtremes Belts are Kosher products. Airheads Bites, Airheads Soft Filled Bites, Airheads Pops, and Airheads Xtremes Bites are not Kosher.

The company who makes Fruit Gushers, General Mills, recently decided to let the public know what ingredients went into this popular fruit snack. What was the verdict? It turns out that Fruit Gushers don't contain any animal by-products. Therefore, Fruit Gushers are vegan.
Unfortunately, not every Nerds flavor is halal. Some contain carmine, which is an insect-derived food coloring.
Sometimes we would hold the airheads by the end of the wrapper and vigorously shake it back and forth so that the airhead would form into a small clump instead of thin taffy. Actually airheads are not quite taffy, they are less sticky, chewier, smoother, and are harder to bite into than your typical taffy.
Do Skittles have gelatin?
Until approximately 2010, Skittles contained gelatin, which is not a vegan ingredient. Gelatin is derived from animal collagen, the protein found in connective tissues, and used to give foods a chewy, gel-like texture. Skittles' manufacturer has since removed gelatin.

The most common types of gelatin are powdered and sheet/leaf gelatin. Again, most products will tell you right on the label if it's beef, pork, or something else. What is this? If it says porcine, it's from pork, and if it says bovine, it's beef gelatin.
Glycerin can come from various animals. The most common sources being tallow which is a kind of beef or mutton fat. Pork is also used to make over 40 products including toothpaste. The fat that is extracted from its bones is incorporated in making many types of toothpastes to give it texture.
While a few Jolly Rancher chewy candies do have gelatin (a by-product of the beef and pork industries), most contain no animal products.
It's called leftovers. The company takes whatever flavors are left over, and rather then throw them out, they mix them together to get a "mystery" flavor. The resulting flavor completely relies on what flavors they previously made but couldn't use to make a complete batch.

Is Takis vegan?
Takis (aka Taquis) are Mexican spicy crunchy rolled-up taquito-inspired chips that are popular in the United States, Canada, Mexico, and around the world. Are Takis vegan? The short answer is: yes, most flavors are! Specifically the Fuego Flavor, Habanero, Spicy Sweet Chili, and other flavors listed below.
As with the original Starburst chews, the Starburst gummies contain gelatin, natural and artificial flavors, and artificial food coloring. Starburst Gummies are not vegan.
