Do Arthur and Gwen have a baby in Merlin? But Gwen is pregnant, and gives birth to a son she names after his father. And it turns out that this is in fact the Arthur whom the dragon was referring to when he told Merlin that he and the king were two halves of a whole, and that they would unite Albion together.
Guinevere is childless in most stories. The few exceptions of that include Arthur's son named Loholt or Ilinot in Perlesvaus and Parzival (first mentioned in Erec and Enide).
When Nimue and Merlin meet in the fifth episode, she asks the wizard why her mother instructed her to bring him the sword. By the end, viewers learn that not only did he and her mother have a relationship, but Nimue is actually Merlin's daughter.
Arthur traditionally had three children in Welsh tradition, including Amr, whose story resembles Mordred's, while Mordred (Medraut) is not Arthur's child in Welsh legend. (See question one below.) The Scots believe Mordred was the good guy at the Battle of Camlann.
Though their courtship was complicated by their differing social classes (and later by interference from Morgana), they were ultimately married in the final episode of series 4. As of Arthur's death in the series finale, Gwen is now his widow and rules Camelot in his stead.
Following the death of Arthur, Guinevere entered a convent, where she spent the rest of her life praying and helping the poor. Filled with remorse for the trouble she and her lover had caused, she vowed never to see Lancelot again. When Guinevere died, she was buried beside King Arthur.
Merlin spends a part of his life as a madman in the woods and marries a woman named Guendoloena (a character inspired by the male Gwenddoleu ap Ceidio). He eventually retires to observing stars from his esplumoir, a house with seventy windows in the remote woods of Rhydderch.
The decision to end the show with Arthur's death
“What we decided to do was to tell the legend how it was in many ways,” Murphy says. “And I suppose we're very sad that Arthur had to die, [but] that is a massive part of the legend.” This was the reason for the final scene, where we see Merlin in the present day.

She's a broken woman and bears the brunt of Arthur's anger, who decides to stay her execution and exile her from the kingdom, a far greater humiliation made worse by Arthur's pity towards the woman he loved.

Queen Guinevere Pendragon, better known as Gwen, is the widow of Arthur Pendragon, one of the best friends of Merlin, the younger sister of the late Sir Elyan, the only daughter and the youngest child of the late Tom (The Blacksmith), and the sister-in-law and a former best friend of the late Morgana Pendragon.
Morgan unhappily marries Urien, with whom she has a son, Yvain. She becomes an apprentice of Merlin, and a capricious and vindictive adversary of some knights of the Round Table, all the while harbouring a special hatred for Arthur's wife Guinevere.
And after Arthur died, Merlin didn't even get to walk away. He didn't get to move on. Because the dragon's final words, while meant to bring him hope, basically thwarted any hope of closure for Merlin.
Mordred succeeded in mortally wounding Arthur during the Battle of Camlann, but was ultimately killed by him in the process.
Arthur died at the hands of Mordred by the shores of Avalon, but, as the Once and Future King, he is destined to one day rise again.

Who does Morgana kiss?
Morganna ended up kissing Charles Barkley, who, at the time, played for the Philadelphia 76ers. As part of the plotline, she interrupted the game, kissed Barkley, and got arrested afterward.
In the show's defense, Guinevere did outlive both Arthur and Morgana, and the finale implied that she was left to rule the kingdom of Camelot alone, which was definitely not a bad fate.
