After nearly a decade, a long-standing partnership between World of Hyatt and MGM Rewards will soon come to an end. From status matches to Hyatt elite night credits in Las Vegas on the cheap, hotel loyalty members will no longer receive reciprocal benefits starting Sept. 30, 2023.
World of Hyatt and MGM Rewards will be ending their strategic relationship effective September 30, 2023. What does this change mean for guests and members? For stays with checkout prior to or on September 30, 2023: Eligible paid and award stays at MGM Rewards destinations will be honored and benefits will be earned.

Hyatt hotels are not part of the Hilton portfolio. Hyatt and Hilton are two separate hotel chains with different brands and different properties. Which is nicer, Hyatt or Hilton? Hyatt and Hilton have many different brands in their collections of hotels, including high-end luxury properties.

Who is MGM new hotel partner?
As each MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy destination completes its launch by early 2024, they will become available to book on Marriott booking channels. Marriott Bonvoy members may then book reservations, earn, and redeem Marriott Bonvoy points at MGM Collection destinations, subject to terms and conditions.
MGM Rewards is the loyalty program for MGM Resorts' 32 properties — including iconic Vegas casinos such as Bellagio, Mandalay Bay, The Mirage and MGM Grand.
Is MGM Resorts acquiring Marriott International and/or Marriott International acquiring MGM Resorts? No. This is an exclusive long-term license agreement whereby accommodations at specific MGM Resorts destinations will be available through Marriott's booking channels by early 2024.
If the design by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill goes ahead, the hotel will be replaced by the new 175 Park Avenue. The building will top out at about 500 metres, with up to 83 storeys. As a mixed-use tower, it will provide about 195,000 square metres of office space.
