The fashion season calendar
Traditionally, there have been two seasons in fashion, namely spring/summer and fall/winter. These are also often shortened to S/S or SS for spring/summer and for fall/winter, F/W or FW and also AW (for autumn/winter). These days, most fashion brands create at least two to four collections.
SS (Side Seam): The seam at the side of a garment, whether on a top, bottom or other piece of clothing.
Y2K Styles and Trends
Velvet track pants, low rise denim skirts and bootcut jeans, bedazzled jackets and chunky heels are just some essentials for the recognisable trend. Autumn/Winter notes include fur trimmed afghan coats, denim midi skirts, thin scarves, berets, leather jackets, mesh blouses and 90s knitwear.
Sweater dresses are a major trend for winter 2023, but so too are knit skirts, like Monroe Steele's textured white midi. Pair them with equally cozy oversize sweaters French tucked at the waist and sleek pointy-toe boots to avoid looking like you're being swallowed whole by your knitting basket.

Can you wear white all year round? Yes, the traditional rule of not wearing white after summer is becoming a thing of the past. White is considered a neutral shade so it goes well with every other color. The options for combining white are almost endless.

February is the only month to have a length of fewer than 30 days! Though it's usually 28 days, February is 29 days long in leap years such as 2020 and 2024. January and February were the last two months to be added to the Roman calendar (c. 713 BC); originally, winter was considered a month-less period.
Occurrence. In the Gregorian calendar, the phenomenon occurs every 6 years or 11 years following a 6-11-11 sequence until the end of the 21st century.
Each month in the modern Gregorian calendar consists of at least 28 days. That number would be a nicely rounded 30 were it not for February. While every month besides the second in the calendar contains at least 30 days, February falls short with 28 (and 29 on a leap year).
Winter is often defined by meteorologists to be the three calendar months with the lowest average temperatures. This corresponds to the months of December, January and February in the Northern Hemisphere, and June, July and August in the Southern Hemisphere.

Yes, they actually get paid to put in an attendance - and paid rather handsomely at that. It's little surprise seeing as celebrity appearances pull in the paparazzi, and after all, what is a new collection without that little extra publicity?
New York
It's no surprise that the home of New York Fashion Week and the city that houses most of the major designers in the country made the top of the list.
