What is the lotus shaped building in Singapore?
The architecture is said to be a form reminiscent of a lotus flower. It is designed by Moshe Safdie. Referred to as "The Welcoming Hand of Singapore" by Las Vegas Sands chairman Sheldon Adelson, the ArtScience Museum is anchored by a round base in the middle, with ten extensions referred to as "fingers".

Marina Bay Sands description and facts: Marina Bay Sands is a hotel consisting of 3 high-rise, 55-story high-rise buildings connected to the top of Sky by a boat-shaped park. This impressive hotel owes its popularity to the "infinite pool" located on the roof at an altitude of 200 meters.
The hull was built off-site in 14 separate steel segments. Each was trucked to the site, lifted into place using hydraulic strand jacks, and assembled on top of the towers. The two largest sections were a pair of 262-foot-long, 1,400-ton box girders that formed the 213-foot cantilever.

Impressive climate control
Unlike Cloud Forest which is kept intensely humid, Flower Dome has been designed to support plants from semi-arid subtropical regions. Cool water pipes are placed within the floor to cool air at the lowest levels, whilst the hotter air is expelled from the top.
