Are NYC museums open on Mondays?

Admission: Adults $25, students/seniors (65+) $18, members and children under 12 free. Open Thursdays through Mondays from 11 am to 6 pm. Pay What You Wish hours are Saturdays from 4 to 6 pm, with free admission on select Saturdays.

How do you get free museums in NYC?
Using their library card, New Yorkers can reserve a pass and get free admission to dozens of NYC cultural institutions, including museums, historical societies, heritage centers, public gardens and more.
On the first Saturday of February, March, April, May, June, August, October and November, we open our doors to the community free of charge from 5 to 11 pm.

Attendance is reduced to 25% capacity. Museum's new hours are Wednesday - Sunday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. The following exhibits and amenities will be unavailable through October 9: Concorde, Growler Submarine and Exhibition, Gift Shop, Food Service, Guided Tours, Audio Tours, 3-D Films and Simulators.
When is it Free? Free on Tuesdays from 5pm to close. Last admission two hours prior to closing. Free Admission Tuesday tickets are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis at the Museum starting at 4 p.m.
