What color trim should I use with Alabaster?
A classic option for Alabaster walls is Sherwin Williams Pure White trim. As mentioned above, it has similar undertones to Alabaster but is more of a true white with a higher LRV.
If you really want to highlight the creamy side of Alabaster and not focus on it being a white, you could try pairing it with SW Pure White or SW Extra White. In this case, Alabaster will look like a cream color on your wall and your trim will be bright white.

The beauty of alabaster is the greige undertones help classify it as a free-standing neutral, rather than just a plain shade of white. Pairing it with additional neutrals like grays, blacks, and wood tones gives any space—like this formal dining room—tons of dimension and color without going overboard.
You will see that Alabaster does have more gray/green tones than Simply White, which is a cleaner white. The two colors are so close in color that it will not look like an intentional color change, it will either look like you tried to match whites and missed or like the Alabaster white surfaces are dirty.
Sherwin Williams – Silver Strand
This gorgeous muted gray/green is Joanna's go to color for interior walls in many of the homes she's filmed on Fixer Upper. It is a lovely neutral when paired with white trim and her signature hardwood floors.
It's very obvious in our kitchen that SW Extra White is a very cool white, while Sherwin Williams Alabaster is definitely a warmer shade of white. For us, Alabaster does not look yellow, even in rooms with low natural lighting.
Alabaster and White Dove are both off-white paint colors, but as you can see, White Dove is considerably less yellow than Alabaster. White Dove does have a hint of yellow in it, but it's also got some gray undertones, too–making it easier to work with.
White Dove is slightly brighter than Alabaster with LRVs of 85.38 and 82 respectively.
Alabaster is a soft, WARM white with MORE undertone than some of the more simple, cleaner whites (ie: SW High Reflective White). This warmth comes across as soft and creamy vs abrasive and yellow, meaning it's not even close to the 3 whites that I would never paint my trim or cabinets.

Pure White, SW 7005 – Pure White is similar to Alabaster in that it's a great neutral base with just a tiny hint of warmth. It's a little crisper than Alabaster and works really well in both warm- and cool-toned homes as a trim, ceiling, and cabinet color.
Is Greek villa or alabaster more white? Greek Villa and Alabaster are both creamy off white paint colors with Greek Villa being more beige and Alabaster more gray. That being said, Greek Villa is slightly lighter, brighter, and closer to white than Alabaster.
Pale Oak is a Benjamin Moore color that is a warm gray. Because of its warmth, it goes really well with Alabaster.
Brass, wood tones – these are two design elements that are very on trend and Sherwin Williams Alabaster is a beautiful choice to mix with these warm tones. Warmer kitchen cabinets are also trending, and the Alabaster color would make a great choice here.
Light (and medium) oak flooring will continue to be on-trend in 2022. Of course, you can create this look via solid wood floors or engineered wood flooring (or even LVP). This is most definitely a (classic) trend I would incorporate if building in 2022.
Tips for Choosing Trim Colors
