Why not to use epoxy?

We have a small mirror that we used to litterally glue on with JB Weld. We found that exposure to acetic acid (vinegar) weaked the JB weld to the point of failure. I would suggest trying some white vinegar--let it soak if you can and the JB Weld might pop off.
