After a brief yet dramatic scuffle between Kahmunrah and Larry, armed with his flashlight, Amelia eventually manages to use the tablet to open the gate, and Larry defeats Kahmunrah and banishes him into the Underworld. Amelia flies Larry and the New York exhibits back home.

Lewis and Clark met Charbonneau and quickly hired him to serve as interpreter on their expedition. Ahkmenrah is a teenager, physically around 17-19 who in reality is over 4,000+ years old former Egyptian Pharaoh who, with his tablet, came to the Museum of Natural History in 1952. Ahkmenrah is the second born son of Merenkahre and Shepseheret, and the younger brother of Kahmunrah.
There is even some evidence that Lewis and Clark were somewhat open about their sexuality with at least one member of the Corps of Discovery. The captains were on very close terms with George Drouillard, who had been hired as an interpreter.
Jean Baptiste Charbonneau is remembered primarily as the son of Sacagawea. His father, Toussaint Charbonneau, was a French-Canadian fur trapper who joined the Lewis and Clark Expedition as an interpreter; Sacagawea proved invaluable as the explorers' interpreter among the Shoshone.
So why is Sacagawea an important American to know? She was instrumental in the Lewis & Clark Expedition as a guide as they explored the western lands of the United States. Her presence as a woman helped dispel notions to the Native tribes that they were coming to conquer and confirmed the peacefulness of their mission.
Lewis and Clark did not give Sacagawea anything. We are not even sure if they treated her with constant respect. When the Corps reached the Pacific Ocean, it was a big moment for everyone. And Lewis and Clark "indulged" Sacagawea, allowing her to see what they had all come many miles to witness.

Toussaint Charbonneau (March 20, 1767 – August 12, 1843) was a French-Canadian explorer, trader and a member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. He is also known as the husband of Sacagawea.
The best part of the movie was the very end, when Tilly and some of the British Museum artifacts make their way to New York on temporary display at the American Museum of Natural History. Tilly shows Dr. McPhee, who got his job back because Larry took the blame for the planetarium chaos, just how magical the tablet is.
The building featured in the film, which was constructed on a sound stage in Burnaby, British Columbia, is based on the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, external shots of which were used in the movie.
