Why can't you have a shower on the ISS?
Water supplies on the International Space Station ( ISS ) are very limited. In any event, water does not "flow" in microgravity: it is therefore impossible to take a shower, wash your hands or go to the bathroom in the same way as on Earth.
The astronauts wipe their body clean by using a wet towel, and wash their hair by using waterless shampoo. Since water does not flow in a zero-gravity environment, the astronauts cannot wash their hands under a faucet as you do on Earth. So, there are no sinks or showers inside the space shuttle.
On the ISS, astronauts do not shower but rather use liquid soap, water, and rinseless shampoo. They squeeze liquid soap and water from pouches onto their skin. Then they use rinseless soap with a little water to clean their hair. They use towels to wipe off the excess water.
Urine is boiled in the distillation assembly and delivered to the water processor, where it undergoes a cycle of filtration and chemical purification until it is usable by the crew – reducing costs associated with launching heavy water shipments to the station from Earth.
The question comes down to proper disposal of sanitary waste, especially for long space journeys. Most female astronauts opt, instead, to induce amenorrhea. That is, suppress their periods by taking birth control pills.
As far as we know, though, you pregnancy is absolutely possible. "Anatomically and biologically," Baylor space medicine expert Jennifer Fogarty told the site, "there are no known impediments to human conception in space."
The ISS has been in continuous use since the early 2000s, and the cracks are literally starting to show. The station's toilet facilities have broken and replaced on a number of occasions over the decades. It's far from the first time astronauts have had issues with the American segment's toilet.
They would eventually likely burn up during reentry into Earth atmosphere. If they died inside they'd be bagged and cold stored until the next return to Earth. Depending on the personnel aboard there might be a cursory autopsy performed to determine COD.
Astronauts who work for civilian agencies like NASA earn a base salary of $104,898 per year. However, their salaries can increase to $161,141 per year. Furthermore, SpaceX founder Elon Musk said that he would be willing to pay his astronauts up to $500,000 for a trip to Mars.
Other astronauts have commented on space smells like gunpowder or ozone, particularly because atomic oxygen is believed to cling to spacesuits in a vacuum.
Where does human urine waste go on the ISS?
Urine is collected separately and sent through the station's Water Recovery System's distillation assembly which helps transform urine from crew members into usable water.

“It tastes like bottled water,” Layne Carter, water subsystem manager for the ISS at Nasa's Marshall Space Flight Center told Bloomberg. “As long as you can psychologically get past the point that it's recycled urine and condensate that comes out of the air.”
Studies have shown that women can have periods as normally in space as they do on Earth. What's more, menstrual blood flow isn't actually affected by the weightlessness we experience in space, so it doesn't float back in – the body knows it needs to get rid of it.

Do they drink on the ISS?

Smoking is not allowed on the ISS for several reasons: Smoking is a fire hazard and since the station is an oxygen-rich environment, it would be very easy for a fire to get out of control. Even without the risk of fire, the ISS is too small a place to permit astronauts to smoke freely.
Fortunately, there's a toilet on the space station these days. The original toilet was designed in 2000 for men and was difficult for women to use: You had to pee while standing up. To poop, astronauts used thigh straps to sit on the small toilet and to keep a tight seal between their bottoms and the toilet seat.
