We enjoy perusing paint chips, testing out colors for ourselves, seeing what our vendors are projecting for the year ahead, and reminiscing about the houses we designed over the past year to look for clues as to what’s up-and-coming. We also like looking back to see if we are right. Last year, we predicted 2021 exterior design colors would include lots of gray, black accents, and a resurgence of off-white and beige. Our designers did use a lot of the paint colors we picked, and you’ll even see some of these trends reappear in 2022.

#1 // Aegean Olive
Aegean Olive is a beautiful deep earth tone green that you’ll be seeing more in 2022. It’s part of Benjamin Moore’s classic and timeless collection of colors that never go out of style. With an LRV (learn more about Light Reflective Value) of 9.59, it’s a bold and dark choice, so it works well as an accent. However, we expect to use Aegean Olive as a base color in our renderings.
