Number of Eiffel Tower restaurants

The Eiffel Tower has two fine dining restaurants – Madame Brasserie and Jules Verne.

There are a few other food and drink outlets: the Champagne Bar on the top floor, the Macaron Bar on the second floor, and the Eiffel Tower Buffets on all floors.

If you buy theEiffel Tower Summit ticket, a flute of Champagne high up in the sky is a must-do activity.

The cost of dining at Eiffel Tower restaurants depends on which restaurant you visit (Madame Brasserie or Jules Verne), when you visit them (breakfast, lunch, or dinner), and what you order.

Cost of dining at Madame Brasserie

At Madame Brasserie, the cheapest lunch (at 12 pm) and dinner (at 6.30 pm) are €60.40 and €127.40, respectively.

The most refined lunch experience, which is at 1.30 pm, costs €104.40, while the best dinner experience at 9 pm costs €204.40.

Kids aged four to 11 get discounted rates – their lunch costs €37.40 and dinner €44.40.

*All visitors aged 12 years and above are considered adults. Lunch costs €37.40 for all kids aged four to 11 years.

*Dinner with Gustave and the Grande Dame Menu costs €44.40 for kids aged four to 11. However, if you want the Grande Dame Menu, Drinks & Views experience, the kids pay the same price as the adults.

Cost of dining at Jules Verne

Jules Verne restaurant’s À La Carte menu, which is available only for lunch, costs €160.

Its 5- or 7-course Tasting Menu, available for lunch (12 to 1.30 pm) and dinner (7 to 9 pm), costs €255 and €275, respectively.

Wine is served with the food at no additional cost.

Important: Since the Eiffel Tower is a non-smoking monument, all the restaurants are smoke-free. Animals and pets are not admitted unless you are a disabled visitor and need the animals.

Dress code at Madame Brasserie

Madame Brasserie does not have a dress code, except for their dinner reservations.

Proper attire is required for dinner at Madame Brasserie. You are not allowed to wear sportswear, jogging or running shoes, or flip-flops.

You are advised to wear a smart casual outfit for your visit to the Eiffel Tower and its restaurants.

Getting to Madame Brasserie

As the first step, you must bookyour table at the Eiffel Tower’s Madame Brasserie restaurant.

Walk-ins are also accepted as long as the restaurant is not fully booked.

Once you reach the Eiffel Tower, enter Entrance 1 with your booking confirmation. Look for the line dedicated to the Brasserie.

You can’t miss the signs indicating the line for the restaurant’s patrons.

You will first reach Madame Brasserie’s reception area located in the forecourt and collect your lift ticket.

Then, take the lift to the first floor and be guided to your table.

Note: Try to reach the Eiffel Tower 30 minutes before your reservation.

Jules Verne Restaurant

Jules Verne is on the second floor of the Eiffel Tower, which is 125 meters (410 feet) high.

Jules Verne timings

Jules Verne opens at noon for lunch and closes at 1.30 pm.

Dinner begins at 7 pm, and the last service order is taken at 9 pm.

On July 14, the restaurant closes after lunch and doesn’t serve dinner.

A La Carte Menu

Jules Verne’s A La Carte Menu, which is priced at €160, is an excellent opportunity to discover Frederic Anton’s favorite starters, main courses, and desserts.

It is available from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays.

5 and 7-Course Tasting Menu

The 5-Course Tasting Menu, which costs €255, includes five of the Chef’s specialty dishes, with lobster, morel, langoustine, veal, and chocolate as the main ingredients.

The 7-Course Tasting Menu comes with two additional dishes made with Turbot and Citrus and is priced at €275.

Reservations for Jules Verne

You can reserve your table at Jules Verne online or call +33(0)1 83 77 34 34 from 1.30 pm to 5 pm, Central European Standard Time(CET ). The operator is available all through the week.

When you make a reservation at the Jules Verne restaurant, a private lift in the South Pillar will take you directly to the restaurant.

The visit to the Eiffel Tower, which is by the Tower’s public lifts, is not included.

That’s why we recommend you book your Eiffel Tower tickets (either to the second or the top floor) and explore the attraction before visiting the restaurant.

Dress code for Jules Verne

Jules Verne enforces a smart casual dress code, where smart casual can be defined as a style that treads the fine line between formal wear and casual everyday attire.

Some men land up in a jacket and a tie, but ties are not a must.

Women usually wear dresses, skirts or trousers.

You can wear jeans as long as they are dark and clean and paired with a solid shirt and shoes.

Sportswear such as trainers, shorts, and t-shirts are not accepted.

Kids at Jules Verne

Children can accompany you to the Jules Verne restaurant, but they don’t offer a kid’s menu or high chairs.

Since child buggies/strollers that are not foldable are not allowed into the Eiffel Tower, they can’t enter the restaurant either.

If you are visiting with kids, it is best to book a lunch or dinner at the Madame Brasserie, which is more child-friendly and even has a kids’ menu.

Lunch is available at 12 noon and 1.30 pm, and dinner is available at 6.30 pm and 9 pm.

How to reach Jules Verne

To get to the Jules Verne restaurant, you must first get to the Jules Verne reception desk at the Eiffel Tower’s southern pillar (In French: Tour Eiffel Pilar Sud).

Once you step in, you will have access to the restaurant directly from a private elevator.

If you are driving to the Eiffel Tower, you can use the valet parking facility at the corner of Avenue Octave Gérard and Avenue Charles Floquet, near the southern pillar.

Eiffel Tower access from Jules Verne

After your meal, if you prefer to explore the top of the Eiffel Tower, you need to have Eiffel Tower entry tickets.

And since it doesn’t make sense to visit Jules Verne restaurant without exploring the different floors of the Parisian monument, we recommend you book your Eiffel Tower tickets in advance.

You can also buy the Eiffel Tower entry tickets at the bottom of the Tower but expect long lines at the ticket counter on the day of your visit.

Champagne Bar

Champagne Bar is on the third floor of the Eiffel Tower, at a height of 276 meters (905 feet).

Because of the space constraints, it is just a counter, but it is a great way to enjoy a glass of champagne while admiring the city of lights.

The Bar also serves soft drinks, in case you don’t fancy a glass of Champagne.

When the Eiffel Tower is open, the Champagne Bar is also open – usually from 10:15 am to 10:15 pm without interruption.

You don’t need to reserve to use the facilities of the Champagne bar.

However, due to the number of visitors or weather conditions, you may be unable to access it at certain times.

The Macaron bar

The Macaron Bar on the 2nd floor is a light eats restaurant to consume on the spot or to take away.

You get to try Macaroons of all flavors and tastes—chocolate, coffee, lemon, strawberry…you name it, and they have it.

Eiffel Tower Buffets

During your visit, you will find Eiffel Tower Buffets on all three floors: the Esplanade, the first floor, and the second floor.

If you are a large group or are on a budget, we recommend you try out one of the ‘Buffet’ places in the Eiffel Tower.

These are not buffets in the real sense. However, these outlets offer quality light meals you can eat on the spot or take away.

They also serve a wide range of hot and cold drinks, sweet treats, savory snacks, salads, sandwiches, pastries, cakes, pizzas, and ice-creams.
