1. Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Fighter

The Neiman Marcus Limited Edition Fighter is the most expensive motorcycle in the world, with a price tag of a whopping $11 million, which is about Rs 91 crore in Indian currency!

Only 45 units of this street-legal motorcycle were built, which makes it an extremely rare sight. It gets 2.0-litre 45-degree air-cooled V-Twin engine, which helps the bike reach a top speed of over 300 kmph.

2. 1949 E90 AJS Porcupine

The AJS Porcupine was a British racing motorcycle, only 4 units of which were made in 1949. One of those were used by Leslie Graham to win the inaugural 1949 FIM 500cc world championship. The 500 cc motorcycle is now valued at $7 million or almost Rs 58 crore.

3. Ecosse ES1 Spirit

Valued at almost Rs 29 crore ($3.6 million), the Ecosse ES1 Spirit features an ultra light aerodynamic design with a frameless chassis, covered in carbon fibre. As a result, the bike weighs just 120 kg, with a top speed of 370 kmph!

4. Hildebrand & Wolfmuller

Built in 1894, the Hildebrand & Wolfmuller was world's first production motorcycle. Hence, the bike carries a price tag of $3.5 million, i.e. Rs 28.96 crore. It gets neither a clutch, nor a pedal. To make it run, one has to push it and jump on it.

5. BMS Nehmesis

Certainly the most quirky looking bikes ever built, the BMS Nehmesis is currently valued at $3 million, which translates to around Rs 24.82 crore in Indian currency.

The motorcycle makes use of an air-ride system that, along with the single-sided swingarm rear suspension, can lift the motorcycle 10 inches or lower it right onto the ground. It also features 24-karat gold elements!

6. Harley Davidson Cosmic Starship

This particular Harley Davidson 2002 V-Rod that has been painted in Jack Armstrong’s Cosmic Extensionalism style. Claimed to have been sold at $3.5 million a few years back, the Cosmic Starship is reportedly up for grabs again. The motorcycle is valued at about $1.5 million.

7. Dodge Tomahawk V10

The Dodge Tomahawk is a non-street legal vehicle introduced in 2003 by Dodge at the North American International Auto Show. Initially introduced as a one-off concept, Dodge later launched it as a limited-run model. It is equipped with a 8.3-litre V10 engine producing a jaw-dropping 500 hp power and 712 Nm torque. It's estimated to cost around Rs 4.55 crore.

8. Ecosse FE Ti XX Titanium Series

With an estimated price of $300,000, the Ecosse Titanium Series FE Ti XX is one of the most expensive production motorcycles in the world. The FE Ti XX is powered by a 2,409 cc billet aluminium engine producing 228 PS. Only 14 units of the motorcycle were built altogether.

9. Ducati Desmosedici D16RR NCR M16

The NCR M16 is a lighter and more powerful version of the Ducati Desmosedici RR limited-run motorcycle. The NCR-tuned Desmosedici RR puts out around 200 hp, and is equipped with carbon fibre bodywork, titanium mechanical parts and avionic-grade aluminium.

10. Ducati Testa Stretta NCR Macchia Nera Concept

Another Ducati on the list, the Macchia Nera is powered by Ducati Testastretta engine with about 180 hp on tap. Valued at $232,500, the Ducati Testa Stretta NCR Macchia Nera Concept is currently the 10th most expensive bike in the world!
