Putty application is a primary step for long-lasting painting results. It's very important if you are doing a fresh painting.

Both wall putty and primer are important components for preparing the walls for painting. However, the order in which they are applied is also essential for achieving a flawless finish. In general, it is recommended to apply the primer first followed by wall putty for painting .

Can we paint the wall directly without putty? Paint can be applied directly on the wall without putty, but it will not give you a smooth finish. Also, paint is often more expensive than putty, so this may not always be an economical choice.
