Rather than a hunky male actor from the movies though, Selena’s poster boy crush was… Barney The Dinosaur.

Let’s take things back a bit. Selena first made her TV show debut aged just seven on Barney & Friends, when she developed her schoolgirl crush.
But rather than fancying a giant purple blob, Selena told Radio 1’s Nick Grimshaw that it was actually the man inside the purple Barney costume that was ‘hot’.
Realising she needed to tred a little more water to be heard, Selena explained that ‘you have to be very fit to do that because it’s 50 pounds of costume’.
‘He’d take it off and he’d have his muscles and he’s sweating and we’re like, “OK, we are children,” but it was great.’
And Selena playfully dumped Demi Lovato in the frame too, as she starred on Barney & Friends with Selena, and she also crushed on the man inside the purple dinosaur.
However, the Bad Liar hitmaker couldn’t remember the name of the dreamy man in the suit, and admitted there had been several throughout the show’s 21-year run.
Actor Dean Wendt, 49, is listed as voicing Barney from 2002 to 2013.
And Selena is still nostalgic for her childhood role. When quizzed by Grimmy about some of her past songs, Selena couldn’t remember the lyrics to her 2009 collab single One And The Same with Demi, but had the words to the Barney theme tune on speed dial.
She joked: ‘That says a lot about me!
‘It was amazing to be able to be seven years old and experience that. I mean, I definitely got majorly made fun of in school, but it was wild. I feel like it was such a part of my life,’ Selena confessed.
