What is Number Five's real name in The Umbrella Academy? It's never been revealed but fans have a genius plan for Aidan Gallagher's character and it involves Frank Iero from My Chemical Romance.
Netflix's The Umbrella Academy is currently taking the world by storm. The script. The plot twists. The characters. The music. THAT DANCE SCENE. But nothing has got fans stanning more than Number Five, played brilliantly by Aidan Gallagher.
If you've watched the show, you'll know that Five, one the seven Hargreeves siblings, doesn't have a name. It's never revealed in the TV show and so far, it's never been revealed in the original comics. But that doesn't mean it could never happen in the future...

Fans have been theorising and speculating about what Five's real name could be. A few days ago, the official Umbrella Academy Twitter account challenged viewers to suggest some names for Five and the results were... interesting.

But one genius suggestion stood out by a mile and actually, it'll be a really really nice gesture if it ever happens.
As you probably know by now, The Umbrella Academy was adapted from the comic book series written by Gerard Way, the frontman of My Chemical Romance. There's several other members of My Chemical Romance and they all have... names... Do you see where we're going with this? Yes, of course you do.
In response to that tweet, fans of the band are now suggesting that Five's real name should be revealed as "Frank", as a tribute to Frank Iero from MCR.

Fans are even pointing out that Gallagher, who plays Five, totally looks like he could be a younger version of Iero.
