Welcome to the CBA Festival of Archaeology

The Festival incorporates hundreds of in-person and virtual events delivered by community groups, heritage organisations, universities, commercial units, and more in-person and online across the UK.

The 2023 Festival of Archaeology will run from the 15-30 July and our theme will be "Archaeology and Creativity"

The 2022 Festival of Archaeology took us all around the UK as we explored discoveries from the past and thought about the challenges we face today.

We’d like to say an enormous thank you to everyone for taking part in the festival, we really couldn’t have done it without all your hard work and passion.
