How do I use my LifeSG credit on Shopee?
Step 1 : Go to ShopeePay or Lazada Wallet. Step 2 : Select Top Up. Step 3 : Select and confirm PayNow as the top up option. Step 5 : Access your NSEA/CG e-Wallet on LifeSG application and scan/upload the saved copy of PayNow QR code on the e-commerce platform.
- Go to Home via the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to the Benefits and support section.
- Look for your NS benefit and select View details.
- Select Scan QR code to pay.
From July 2022 onwards, eligible national servicemen will receive S$100 worth of NS55 credits* on the LifeSG app. These credits can be used at merchants that accept scan and pay via PayNow UEN or NETS QR. *NS55 credits are part of the NS55 Recognition Package to commemorate 55 years of national service in Singapore.
Make sure that the online or physical merchant accepts “Scan and Pay” through PayNow UEN QR or NETS QR code. In your LifeSG mobile application, scroll to “Benefits and Support” Locate “NS55 credits” and tap on “View Details” Tap on “Scan QR code to pay” and scan the QR code provided by the merchant.
Open your LifeSG app, under “Benefits and support” section, tap “View details” button. Scroll down to tap on “Scan QR code to Pay” button. Use your phone to scan the QR code on Sheng Siong's $TM screen. Wait for your cash to be dispensed.
Before you can pay by installments, you'll have to add it as a payment method to your Shopee account. You can do so on Shopee App by going to the Me tab > Account Settings > Bank Accounts / Card > +New Credit Card Installment. Fill in your credit card details and Submit.
You may spend the cash credits at any online/physical merchant accepting payment by “Scan and Pay” via PayNow UEN QR or NETS QR. These merchants also include various e-commerce platforms such as Shopee and Lazada. You may view the verified list of merchants by clicking on the 'Merchant List' tab.
The NS50 vouchers can also be used at all SAFRA and HomeTeamNS clubs to book facilities, register for activities, and extend their membership with the respective NS associations. In addition, national servicemen may also use their NS50 vouchers to support the socially disadvantaged groups in Singapore.
Yep! You can transfer that $100 into your bank account with no fees so long as you have the appropriate multi-currency accounts and cards.
The NS55 credits are valid for one year upon issuance. The credits can be spent at any online or physical merchant accepting payment by “Scan and Pay” via PayNow UEN QR or NETS QR.
Can I transfer NS55 credit to bank account?
When prompted, you will need to enter your bank's SWIFT/BIC numbers which can be found here. Go back to the “Transfer tab”; you should see the bank account that you added. From there, just transfer your $100 into your bank account and voila! You have successfully encashed your $100 worth of NS55 credits!
- Select Withdrawal from in the ShopeePay app.
- Tap the bank account you want to withdraw to.
- Enter the withdrawal amount and tap Next.
- Confirm and enter your ShopeePay PIN for verification.
The next step is to press the PayNow icon on the screen and select S$90 to cash out. The last step is to open the LifeSG app, which eligible past and present national servicemen (NSmen) who want to use the NS55 credits must download, to scan the QR code on the $TM screen. And the cash will be disbursed.
