He starts looking for Pink Sneakers, who failed to kill Ghost, and has one of her contacts attempt to find her but fails. He kills him and later learns that Pink Sneakers is in hiding in Miami. In the process, he goes to see his baby mama Jarita and pays her off for being loyal to him.
In his final moments, he locked eyes with Hera -- his blindness vanishing and his sight restored so that he could see her one last time. As the three took off, Kanan allowed the explosion to overtake him, killing himself in the process. His death wasn't in the heat of battle or something that took him by surprise.

Kanan was the rival and former friend of Ghost, the main character of the original Power series.
Despite the Stranger Danger, Tariq is still hanging out with Kanan, who goads him into stealing shoes. Tasha and Ghost have sex after a successful Parents' Day for their kids, but Ghost makes it clear that they're not back together.

Theo then informs Davis, "This traitor gotta go lil brother," before offering himself up as the "perfect" person to send Saxe to his death. Despite pleas from Davis and Tariq, Theo does the unthinkable and shoots Saxe in his back.
Horrified by her actions, Tasha realizes that Lakeisha is now a loose end and to protect her son she has to die. Keisha begs Tasha because of Cash and Tasha ponders on it. After a moment of hesitation, Tasha issues one final apology to her and fatally shoots Keisha in the head.
She was a childhood friend of Tommy Egan and James as all three belonged to the same neighbourhood. Her and James dated in high school but she left him to study abroad where she studied law and left all contacts with James for 18 years. After 18 years they reunite and rekindle their love.
Who kills Dre in power?
Episode 11, however, saw Dre (Rotimi Akinosho) die in prison at the hands of 2-Bit (Michael J. Ferguson) and Spanky (Omar Scroggins) after the Starz series eliminated him as a suspect in the murder of Ghost.

Character Development
He was groomed by Kanan, Jukebox, Ray Ray and Dre (although Dre tried everything he could to keep Tariq away from Kanan). After that, he killed Ray Ray for killing Raina and witness Kanan kill Jukebox.
Biography. Kanan is Ghost's former boss and mentor. He has been in prison for years because of a sketchy drug charge. He had once taken both Tommy and Ghost under his wing years ago and taught both of them everything they know.
Ghost did get the last laugh in the end, like he always seems to — he left no money (nothing!) for Tasha in his will and Tariq only gets his and Raina's part if he finishes college. He set Tasha's mom up with rent for a year, presumably because he figured she'd have to take care of little Yas eventually.
While the actual finale found Tommy distraught over Ghost's death, he didn't meet the same fate, instead opting to leave New York behind and head to Los Angeles for a fresh start. The fan-favorite is now set to be featured in Power Book IV: Force.
