The most recent episode, titled 'King's Gambit', saw Joe Proctor – played by Jerry Ferrara – shot and killed by Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora).
He was able to kill 2 of his assailants, but his sustained injuries made it easier for Uriel to stab Julio repeatedly and removed Julio's "718" tattoo, which is part of the gang. Julio dies a few seconds later due to his injuries. Tommy later finds out about Julio's death and confronts Uriel.
As a reminder, in what creator Courtney Kemp described to EW as the "saddest ending of a television show ever," Ghost (Hardwick) was shot by his son Tariq (Michael Rainey Jr.) and died in the arms of his lifelong best friend Tommy (Joseph Sikora).
During class, Tariq's guilt or innocence becomes the topic of conversation. The majority have decided he's already guilty, and they question whether he can return to campus. In response, Carrie reassures them Tariq will go to prison for the rest of his life (she must not watch Power).

Kanan Starks is main antagonist of the Power universe, serving as the overarching antagonist of the Starz TV series Power, and the titular protagonist of Power Book III: Raising Kanan. He was portrayed by the rapper 50 Cent, who is also the executive producer of the series.
Kemp also points out that the Kanan character is five years older than his eventual proteges/betrayers, and Power Book III takes place when the duo was still in elementary school.

Who does Tariq get pregnant?
Rasheed proposes to Laila, and Laila accepts because she is pregnant with Tariq's child. Laila knows that she has no other choice.
Season four of the hit series saw the shock death of Ghost's daughter Raina because of her twin brother Tariq's past with dirty undercover cop Ray Ray. As Ray Ray looked to sew up loose ends by tracking down Tariq, he found Raina, and while Tariq hid, her confrontation with Ray Ray led to her death.
That was all Tariq needed to fully realize he was no longer living under Ghost's wing. Tariq made the decision — along with a spiritual nudge by the late Kanan — to do away with his father. He confronts him with the belief that it was Ghost's actions that broke their family apart, and that the damage is irreversible.
Laila is pregnant with Tariq's child, and she requests a speedy wedding in hopes that Rasheed will not realize he could not have fathered the child. Laila gives birth to a daughter, which displeases Rasheed greatly. Mariam's initial reaction to Laila is harsh.
After being forced to flee to Pakistan with his parents, Tariq lands in prison for smuggling hashish. Despite the many trials he faces, he returns to Laila, proving himself loyal and loving in a way her husband, Rasheed, is not.
Laila and Tariq marry on the day of their arrival to Pakistan.
Ghost left him an envelope with keys in it. They were to a garage that had a fully restored purple 1969 Mustang. Tommy makes a stop at Elisa Marie's. They have an honest talk about loneliness and letting go.
Effie was born in the Capitol in 44 ADD to Justinus and Euphemia Trinket. Her parents were pretty old when they gave birth to her, but it wasn't really a problem, since this has happened to another rich family. She was named after her mother.
And that Kanan has kidnapped his son with his cousin, a throwback old neighborhood crony named Jukebox (Anika Noni Rose), who makes Ghost look on in horror as he learns that she's the one who has stashed his son away somewhere.
